The WWE Universe Doesn't Know That There's A Wrestling Thread - Part 28

Do you remember when Rock used to talk about Undertaker's Mickey Mouse tattoos and his 32 pound head?

The Rock's "32 pound head" line on Taker STILL makes me LOL.

I just wanna do naughty things to Maryse. Since she's not good at wrestling, she should become a porn star.

I really wish WWE would use Maryse in some kind of non-wrestling role now that they seem to be done pushing her as a performer. She's believable on screen and she has more talent in her little finger than Kelly Kelly will ever have.

punks tatoo's are awesome

Meh. The sleeves were great but when he got his chest done, it became overkill.

When Rock comes back he's gonna break out the "Mickey Mouse tattoos" line on Punk.

Rock and Punk cutting a promo on one another.....that's a wrestling fan's dream.:woot:

Funny considering they both started out doing almost the same thing.

They tried Maryse as a valet but she's too much about getting herself over.

I remember a shoot with Sherri talking about the job of the valet being to enhance the star whose corner she is in, and I recall comments from HBK, Dibiase and Savage all putting over how she understood the business and did everything she could to enhance a match and get the guy she was managing over, and she talked about how in turn they'd work her into spots in order to get her over.

When Rock comes back he's gonna break out the "Mickey Mouse tattoos" line on Punk.

Rock has that many himself now though.

there is much more fertile ground to be plowed than tattoos though, at least in terms of promos....make fun of Rocks divorce and his failed Disney movies, Rock can drag out the picture

Agreed.

I remember hearing a radio interview with her and they asked her what made her want to go to WWE and she never really answered the question, she sorta dodged it.

And in another interview she mentioned how she liked going around the world and, as she called it, "living like a rock star"; didn't even talk about being in the ring or the physical aspect of being in the WWE.

:lmao: Who else but The Rock could look at Undertaker and come up with something like that? Or calling someone a ''butter biscuit *****''? (maybe Booker T)

its why some of the fans are sooo harsh on these guys....they want to know that the people working in the WWE have at least some respect for the business they're in and are pretty quick to sniff out when that is NOT the case

Say whatever you want about The Miz but that is a guy that loves the business and wants to be there.

He does, I doubted it at first, but watching his non wrestling related appearances, he does all he can to promote the WWE and wrestling, in general

Right. The valet has to accentuate the wrestlers qualities. Can't be all about them. Sherri helped get HBK's act over not just herself.

Or like when Sherri would talk about Savage she would say stuff like "This man here..." Never mentioned herself nearly as much.

One of the best I can think of in modern times was Melina and she didn't compare to the old crop of valets.

Jackie did pretty well with AMW in TNA. Theres a few Knockouts that could be great valets. Traci Brookes could be

And thats the difference between the majority of the old crop of Divas and the newer crop. You could tell women like Trish, Mickie, Lita, Victoria, Molly, Ivory, Jackie, etc loved the business. A lot of the newer model girls just see it as a fun stepping stone. Nothing wrong with using it as a stepping stone but respect it while your in it.

I'm gonna give a shout out to Luna Vachon too. LOVED pro wrestling and always gave it her best. She was always under appreciated.

There are some ladies in WWE now who I feel love the business. Beth and Nattie are obvious. Kharma, AJ, and probably Eve. Most of them just aren't being given the opportunity to improve or show what they have. Hopefully Goldust can do what Finlay and Regal and others did.

Speaking of Finlay, did anyone here his first interview after his WWE release? He blamed himself for the incident that led to his firing. He took 100% responsibility for it.

the rock got divorced?

I dunno if punk should use that as ammo really tbh

Hell, you could see this all the way back to his Real World days.

Why did he get fired?

The Rock got divorced to the default reason "irreconcilable differences" but he is still good friends with his ex-wife, most likely for the sake of his daughter.

Making fun of the Rocks divorce is a little to personal to me. It MAY have been done in the Attitude Era but it just seems like mean spirited personal issue BS now since a child got affected by the divorce. Thats the kind of tasteless crap Russo books in TNA.

Theres plenty of other stuff that Cena can trash talk the Rock over:

Like the fact that The Rocks hairline retreated faster than The French ran from the Nazi's.

Bull. ****. drag it out...if he can throw all manner of insults at HHH and Steph, but oh no we can't talk about the Rocks divorce?? oh but its ok because we don't like Steph

that's called being a hypocrite

Maryse cant wrestle...but neither can the vast majority of Divas over the past several years. The difference is though that she has personality...she stands out, is easy to hate...and frankly she's just hotter than most.

Am I the only one noticing that the only WWE Superstars that are being used in the anti-bullying campaign are some of the biggest bullies in the WWE?
