This wait til September is gonna suck. Just getting into Max and Guacamelee and liking both but I doubt they'll hold me over longer than 2 weeks.

Yeah.. Diablo will hold me over quite a bit.. That's still a good but away. August 19th.

Yea I don't have much either. Im still playing MLB for my PS4 but ill only play a game or two a day. I just snagged Sniper Elite III, but im sure ill of gone through that by the end of next week.

I was just talking to my friend about how I swear this is the SLOWEST start to a new gen ever. I love Indy games.. I do.. But I swear both Sony and MS are using them as a way to say "hey, there's games.. Maybe not AAA but who needs AAA eh? Eeeeh?"

I know a lot of people hate indie games, but I really do love them. I get just as excited for them, as I could any AAA game. I was hooked the second Geometry Wars came out.

One of the reasons why I want a PS4, is to play Resogun.

I'm fine with them.. I download and play all of them.. However I can understand the annoyance of some. My problem is some people act like the indie games should be enough.. Yoshida from Sony for example just spoke about how he doesn't "get" why gamers want AAA games.. There are so many indie games that those should hold is over..

I like Shue but it should be simple. We have new graphic power house consoles and most gamers would like something soon that takes advantage if said systems.

IA and Im sick of it. I don't care that they exist but I hate how its being treated like they are an adequate substitute for retail games. Ive seen Sony and game media have that same attitude. People are upset with the small library and the rebuttal seems to be well there's plenty of indie games so you should shut up and enjoy those games. For me at least, I didn't buy my PS4 to play these games I can play on my iPad or laptop. That stuff I prefer on the go, but when I sit down on my couch, I prefer a larger scale experience. On a similar note, I cant get into retail experiences that are put into a handheld/mobile platform. I just have different expectations for different platforms. For the home consoles, retail games are the main attractions and indies are supplemental, but it seems as if they are being treated in reverse, at least right now

I hate indie games. I just can't put more than 5 minutes into em before I'm bored to tears. I think you guys make fantastic points in saying that we have these new powerful machines and games should be taking advantage of that. I wanna sit in front of my tv turn on my ps4 or x1 and play a game that looks like it was made in 2014, not 1994.

so, would it be ok to put your X1 on top of your cable box, or the cable box on top of the X1?

or would it be best to just keep them next to each other?

I would keep them next to each other to stay safe, but if I had to stack, I would put the X1 on top. It has vents on top, so you don't wanna cover those.

It's very quiet. I can't even tell it's on, even when its running a game.

It's not like the 360.

The 360 puts off more heat just booting up than the X1 does after hours of game play. Both new systems are super efficient in both heat and noise output.

If he doesn't get it then he's in the wrong industry. It's one thing for fans to have a complete preference or play exclusively one or the other but the guys at the top should at least understand how things work in the areas that aren't their favourite. For all the money I've dropped on indie games this gen, that figure would be zero if there were no AAA games. I'd have different hobbies. Indies are a great side course to me but they'll never be a main course.

Definitely don't put anything on top of the X1. Any tech with an upward facing vent is not meant to be stacked (with anything above).

So, I'm considering getting one. But I am wondering if I should wait until November, for a good bundle. Apparently Sunset Overdrive is being hinted at.

It's possible it'll be better to wait, but if you feel the current library is enough & can afford it, then I say go for it now.
