I'm wireless, and I'm fine with my X1, 360, Wii, Wii U, PS3 and 3DS.
ah, good.

so, are Avatars still used on the X1?
can you customize your Avatar's look and go to the store to buy "premium" styles like you could on the 360?
Yea I haven't had any wireless issues either, but iv switched to ethernet just because I felt it'd give me a boost(it doesnt seem to tho) and my router is right next to my console, so why not?
If I was right next to my router I'd use my ethernet but wireless is usually fine.
It looks like they've abandoned all that stuff. Meaning I don't see an option to customize your avatar nor do i see the avatar store on the X1. Its still there for the 360, but i don't see it for the X1. The avatar isn't displayed anywhere on the console, save for the fact you can use it as your gamer pic.
there's no way you can use custom pics for your gamerpic, is there?
Nope. The only thing you can customize about your gamer pic is with your avatar. Meaning you can make them do little poses, then snap a picture and use that as your pic.
I hope MS brings back the gamer pics from tv shows, movies, games etc. Either ones we can buy, of which I had a few and then the free ones. I really want a Witcher gamer pic or other based on a franchise im fond of.
So I just bought a Xbox 360 PC controller and now I hear they're releasing a Xbox One PC controller. I just need to know how does the Xbone controller feel when compared to the 360. I've heard conflicting opinions.
My wif-fi works fine with all my other game systems, plus my iPod and phone. It's only with the Xbox One that I've ever had any issue with that. It could be a hardware issue, but since plugging it in fixed most of the issues I had, I feel like it almost has to be the connection. I may get in contact with MS support or something and see if they can help me.
I like it as much if not more. About the only thing that I'm not super fond of is how they did RB/LB. Haven't had to actually use them yet, but they feel really weird
Don't know if you saw my earlier response to you (a few days ago) spelling out the exact process but MS support are really good nowadays (were terrible in the 1st few years). Best way I've found is to open an internet chat after logging into xbox.com with your gamertag and password. My wif-fi works fine with all my other game systems, plus my iPod and phone. Yup, I was trying to explain that in detail in here, and it didn't register with some. You can only press down on the outer parts of the button. If you want to engage the action on the inner parts of the button, you have to push/slide it to the right or left, which isn't nearly the same as a regular button press. It almost always throws off my aim when I'm trying to push/slide the button.yeah....the bumpers are a bit weird. I've tried the controller out at store demo stations. The bumper buttons are "sloped" or "angled." so it feels different when you press them. like you have to push them from the side instead of directly on top of the button.
hard to describe.

The entire controller is designed around a smaller hand. I find it to be pretty uncomfortable to use after a few hours of use. I never had that problem with the 360. I think the main problem with the design is in the main handles where you grip the controller. It's MUCH smaller of an area to handle, and you can't grip it the same way you could with the 360. I have to almost hold my X1 controller on the lower ends of the handles, in order for my fingers to be able to hit all the buttons correctly. If I try to grip it naturally, my fingers will overshoot every single button. And it doesn't help that the bumpers are pretty much garbage.
Yeah, it rumbles in the triggers. The X1 has rumbles in the triggers and the handles. The 360 only had it in the handle area. I mean, if you're into rumbles, I guess it's cool, but I rather have more fluid action in my buttons, instead of my controller rumbling in more spots.
