also, today I had the chance to try out the controller again at a demo station.

maybe it's because I've tried it out several times and so am more used to it, but this time, it actually felt "right" in my hand.

even the bumpers, it kind of felt natural the way my index fingers rested on them and clicked them.

It feels a bit too... plastic to me? Kind of hard.

I dunno. Even after my bad experiences with the PS4, I can't lie, that was the best controller I've felt. Possibly ever.

I really dig my Wii U Pro Controller. Plus, that 80 hour battery life ain't too shabby.

For FPSs, the 360 controller will always reign supreme, while this gen, the PS4 is definitely the all around better controller.

Both of them are well designed pads, there's a legit debate as to which is better, where as last gen there was no contest.

I considered getting a Wii U Pro Controller, but I've been surprisingly satisfied by the Gamepad.

It's one of those things that works much better than you'd expect.

cuz I was thinking, worst case, I buy the CoD bundle for the 1TB hdd, then I slap a decal/skin on it to cover most of that ugly design..........lol.

the skins/decals are safe to use, right? they won't cause the console to overheat or anything?

and are they permanent? or can you easily remove them later without damaging the console?

you dont like the AW xbone?? I think it looks ****in awesome, especially the controller

I'm not a fan of the COD bundle, either. But I'm not a big fan of themed systems. I prefer mine plain black or white.

Controllers are fine when they're painted up and themed. I don't have any, but my friend has a nice Scuf One, and it looks pretty cool. There's a guy who does NES controllers, and he makes an amazing MM one that I'm thinking about getting.

I liked the controller in the bundle particularly more than the console itself and yes I'm not a fan of themed consoles either.

if the destiny bundle had the Ps4 saying destiny on it i wouldna gotten it.

and I have to agree with Thunder about the CoD Bundle design.

it just ruins the whole package for me. I'm not a fan of the design on the console and on the controller.

If it had just the standard black console and controller, then I'd probably be all over that if I wanted to get an X1.

heck, even if the design was a decal/skin that you could take off ( with the standard black model underneath ), I might get it.

but no........it's a fugly paint job. plus, I am not a CoD fan, so it doesn't appeal to me anyways.

oh yeah. feeling "plastic" or "cheap" was my first impression. plus all the buttons are "clicky." like everything you press you hear "click, click, click, click."

I still prefer the DS4 by a long shot. but, I guess I'm warming up to the X1 controller.

so, it looks like MS will give us the 1st look at the new Windows OS on Tues.

indications seem to suggest that they will be pivoting away from the tile heavy Windows 8 format. I think it's safe to say that they know Windows 8 has largely been a failure.........lol.

if that's the case, do you think that will mean the X1 UI/OS will get an overhaul as well? to shift away from the tile format and closer to whatever the Windows format will be?

what? the OS/UI of the X1?

well, people who can't stand Windows 8 probably don't care for the tile layout.

and I've heard some say the X1 UI is sluggish and hard to navigate, while others like it.

so it really comes down to personal taste.
