Theater stages armed raid of Iron Man screening.

I can not perceive who would possibly think this was a good idea after what happened with Batman. My Mom even freaks now when she sees police officers at theaters because of that bastardized Joker.

 

At one point did no one seriously think, this might not be the best idea.

Wow. Imagine the kids this traumatized. I don't consider myself a litigious person, but if my kid was there I'd sue. Honestly what dumbass was in charge of this asshattery and who is it preparing? Random movie-goers? Nice way to lose business too. Can you imagine anyone in that cinema ever returning?

 

How the hell could anyone think this was a good idea?

 

I read an article about a week ago about a staged shooting during a school faculty assembly. They had people firing blanks into the air and such and I'm shocked no one had a heart attack or even more extreme.. pulled a concealed real gun and shot one of the mock shooters. It sounds like the worst experience ever.

One of the cops said they risked the possibility of one of the cosplayers being shot by an audience member carrying a concealed weapon. Thankfully that didn't happen.

 

Or get their ass kicked,IF I was there and one of the fake shooters accidentally shot off his gun and I noticed it was a blank or just a fake toy gun..I'd be like"Oh hell naw"and go ape crazy on him!

 

You ever see In Bruges? That movie can give you ideas on how to deal with somebody who tries to fire blanks at you.

I'm surprised half the audience didn't storm down the aisle and beat the crap out of the employees once they realized it was a happening.

 

Putting aside the more serious life-endangering and potentially traumatizing consequences, I'd still be pissed my movie was interrupted by a bunch of acne-faced teenagers playing dress-up. How on Earth did they think this was a good idea on any level? I don't know about jail, but they definitely should all be fired and the theater should face a hefty fine.

 

I like that the manager was trying to entertain his customers and make it a bigger&fun experience But he simply should have had people dressed up as Iron Man 3 characters..In the lobby or in the theater screening room before the movie started then leave as commercials started.

Instead he ended up scaring the crap out of people including(most likely)kids and cops were called in panic,Plus the fake gunmen could have been in danger IF people fought back or a cop was there!
