They really need to do detailed figs from the DC movies and even tv shows.

Superman The Movie one and two, Superman, Lois, Lex, Clark, Zod, Non, Ursa.

Batman, from one: Batman, Bruce, Alfred, Joker, Bob, Vicki, Alexander Knox, Gordon, Jack Napier, Batman Returns: Batman in his new suit, Penguin in his tux, not in those dumb underwear, Shrek, not the ogre :cwink: :oldrazz: :woot: , Catwoman, Batman Forever: Batman in his regular suit, Batman in his Sonar Suit, Robin, Bruce, Dick Grayson, Riddler, Two-Face.

Lois and Clark: Superman, Clark, Lois, Lex, Superman in that black suit with blue 'S' from that one episode, I thought that was cool, obviously inspired by the Return of superman story line. Metallo.

The Flash: Flash, Barry, The Trickster.

I read in Wizard a couple years ago, the reason they can't do a movie line is because of licensing but if they were to get that all sorted out they'd make some great movie toys. Me I want figures of the characters Spider-Bat posted above except Lois and Clark I never really cared about that show. Plus I'd want to see new Batman Begins and Superman Returns figures because the Hasbro ones sucked.

BUt they can and do make movie stuatues and stuff through DCD.

I made a threa like this a while back suggestign a line of Live action DC stuff to be bade through DCD....It had Adam West, George Reeves...it had a lot.....no Alaexander Knox though.

I wouldn't rule it out. Mattel managed to get the rights to Brando's likeness to make Jor-El figures out of him (despite the fact they just slapped the head on a Routh body and forgot all about the patented Brando Gut). Plus DCD has finally gotten to around to making a Wonder Woman statue with Lynda Carter's likeness.

I'd love to see a sort of "Real Justice" 6" line that includes Christopher Reeve as Superman, Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman, Michael Keaton as Batman, and John Wesley Shipp as the Flash (say what you want about the show, the costume wasn't too shabby). B'sides, if they're gonna let Mattel make a half-a$$ed toy of Brando, they can certainly let DCD give us a decent-looking Uncle Jack. :woot:

I think that now would be a great time for DCD to reboot thier Smallville Line....where years ago we got Clark, Lex and Lana....the time is ripe for Green Arrow, John Jonzz, Lionel, The Flash, AC.....there are a lot more options for the old Smallville line now.

Nah. That line failed.

When Superman: MoS comes out in 2009; they should try to get the licensing rights to it; as opposed to Mattel. I liked that 13" Superman they did.

I wouldnt mind if Mattel got the primary comicbook figure rights with DC Superheroes and DCD did artist and movie specific figures.

The Smallville line failed because they were plain characters....but now Smallville is a much more colorful show with many more heroes to choose from, and the show was just in the first season, it didn't have the following it does now.

I think if DCD brought back the smallville line right now it would be much more successful.

Eh I disagree.

Aside from Green Arrow; its just a bunch of teenagers in normal clothes; generic.

No real superhero potential. It would still be a pretty weak line.

I'd rather they do a "Superman in Cinema" line and create DCD versions of Kirk Alyn, George Reeves, Christopher Reeve and Brandon Routh.... with perhaps Dean Cain as a variant; showing off the five live action Supermen.

That'd be a great promotion for summer 2009 when the \S/ hype is up again.

GerogeReeves never was in the Cinema....he was on Television like Dean Cain.

Nope. "Superman and the Molemen" marked his debut as Superman. A feature.

You can check other threads I've said this well before this string of posts......but I said it here most recently

Should I work at a Toy Company or what?

I still don't like it; but its probably mainly because I dont like the show..

but whatever; if they want to pimp Smallville now ... oh wellz

The only figs coming this time are of the Justice League

I wouldn't mind the green arrow as his outfit in the show is ok looking, but i got a clark from the original line. The others i think i will miss. :woot: :woot:

waste of peg space as far as i'm concerned. i won't be touching any of these.
