There was a MURDER on my street this morning!

LOS ANGELES - Police are investigating a fatal stabbing in Studio City. It happened Sunday morning near an apartment complex off Vineland Avenue near Ventura Boulevard.

Police said they have a person of interest in custody in connection with the death.

No further details have been released

According to the news the guy who did the stabbing was the lead singer of a band called Meth. I totally saw the cars and the SWAT team out there on my way to work this morning. My boss said he saw one of the SWAT carrying a big ass gun

What's really funny is that I live in one of the older apartment buildings in an upscale neighborhood, and this happened in the RITZY apartments they built a couple years ago, the one that rents studio apartments for $4,000.

Why did this make the news. Probabley because it was only a stabbing and not a shooting which happens like every day in LA. Why was SWAT there if the guy only had knife.

Come live in my town, when I was a teenager we probably had 3-4 on my street (including a friend who was killed in a drive-by in the middle of the day, he lived 5 houses down from me). I live in a different part of town now though!
