So...

What would it be? New costume? New arch-enemy? New writer or artist for the your favorite character's magazine?

For me, it would be that some of my favorite characters had an ongoing (Blue Marvel, Silver Surfer).

1) I would love to see a Blade MAX series, patterened something along the lines of the Ennis series or Aaron's PunisherMAX. With Blade being based more on the movie version and universe, with some things from the comic Blade thrown in there and reimagined. I also would perhaps team him with his vamp girlfriend from the MI:13 series, a way to acknowledge that part of his backstory. But other than that, I would keep interactions with costumed superheroes out of the book, or at a bare minimum.

2) Get more promotion for Black Panther and the Doomwar storyline, revamp his villains and then farm them out to the rest of the Marvel U so they can get some notoriety, and also take some major and minor villains in the Marvel U and have them go against Panther more. There's a lot of underused villains that might go well with Panther.

3) This is a Marvel board, but about DC, I would've loved to see them do a Dark Reign type storyline when Lex Luthor had been president. It would've made for some potentially great stories that could logically be extended, unlike the Blackest Night storyline IMO.

4) Another DC, I wish they had done a "Dark" Batman and Robin (Jason Todd and Damien) for the new Dynamic Duo. I think that would be neat.

5) A War Machine miniseries to coincide with Iron Man 2.

How does the Silver Surfer not have an ongoing right now? Marvel's space books are having a renaissance right now and all he's got so far was a couple of minis.

Thor grows a beard.

1./ I'd do a New Warriors mini with a massive roster and versus a Major Major threat. I'd put them in an original THunderbolts type role..for some reason the Avengers and X men are out of the picture, a major threat arrives and the New Warriors, with a massive showing (complete with Nova and Darkhawk) are the only ones around to save the planet.

I'd have captain britain and union jack be in the comics more..they could be so much more..hell have cap in the avengers and have union jack have an ongoing along side blade with whats happened with spitfire the relationship between the two as they try to prevent the resurrection of the original baron blood...

Beard for Thor.

Brown jacket, eagle crest shirt, gloves, helmet, energy shield, and Ebony Blade for the Black Knight (although full armor's all right, too). And he and Faiza actually start dating instead of doing the knight/squire thing.

Oh, and the rule for the majority of superheroes would be that they don't kill. Right now it's the exception, which bugs me.

I'd fix the damage done to the character of the Sentry. I would do so thusly...

First, I'd devote a mini to him so that we don't get this crap where we get some shocking moment followed by no explanation or elaboration.

Second, I'd explain the power inconsistencies (such as having trouble holding the helicarrier when that shouldn't have been a problem). This is easily explained by simply having a knowledgeable character confront him and say something like "I know you've still been holding back." And then said character gives examples of when he's been portrayed with a lower level of power than he should be based off of his original appearances. I'd recommend Reed Richards to be said character.

Third, I'd actually BOTHER explaining the weird happenings such as Sentry being killed multiple times, or that brief appearance of the Void in Secret Invasion. Bendis just figures he never has to bother I guess.

Fourth, I'd get rid of the whole "I control molecules" thing. Frankly, he's powerful enough that he doesn't need it and it makes him seem like just another molecule man which is a terrible idea.

Last, I'd have him go back to being competent again as he was in his mini, someone people look up to as well as fear, though I'd still have some mental instability. I'd also have the void go back to being a global threat.

Your #4 is the reason he's survived so many #3's

There could easily be other explanations though. Such as Void has taken over and is creating some sort of constructs of sentry to control just as the Void is sort of not real but just a construct. It's comics, there's lots of crap you can make up as an excuse.

Stop being a loser *****ebag who makes deals for the devil and life rapes his Aunt.

"deals FOR the devil" ???

Anyway; i'd bring The Abomination back, ASAP. i hate when cool villains are killed off for stupid reasons (i.e., making Red Hulk look "kewl") :whatever:

I don't think that a Dark Reign type of story would have worked well with Lex Luthor. Unlike Norman Osborn who is able to do most of his dealings behind closed doors due to his position as Director of H.A.M.M.E.R., Lex Luthor is in a far more open position as President of the United States and can't get away with as much as Norman can.

I had a talk about this when I was saying how Dr. Doom is way cooler than Lex Luthor. Doom can do whatever he wants because he's the king of his own nation while Lex Luthor was confined by American democracy. Anytime Doom is removed from his throne whether it be by his death or forced removal, he can always come back. Lex on the other hand is forever tainted in the eyes of the public and can never be President again.

At the risk of ruining his character, I always wanted Black Panther to be more of a traditional street-level, secret identity having, patrols his city via rooftops, beats the baddies, has his own rogue gallery type of hero over the regal, has his own kingdom version he's always been. Probably why my favorite Black Panther arc is still the one where Kasper Cole becomes the Black Panther.

Hmmm let's see. First fix the OMD mess, preferably with aunt may dying when Pete finds out what he did. While we're on Spider-Man I'd like to see some interaction with other supers specifically the people he's brought in or dealt with. Specifically I'd like to see Hobie Brown as a main supporting character that knows who Peter really is.

While we're on Hobie, give the prowler his own series. Venom X above wants a BP that's street level, well they've already got one. Use him. I like the idea of a low budget BP type.

Bring back Hornet. Maybe have him brought back by dusk with that crazy magic stuff. I'd love to see a slingers reunion in AtI.

Galactus. Stop making him lose to every villain that needs some cred. I'm tired of him being a battery or whatever. He should be something much much greater. Also stop making him so evil, I prefer the original galactus. Not so bad a guy, he just needs to eat and everyone is like ants to him. Rather than him seem so stand villain type and bring him back to a force of nature above such petty emotions and concepts.

Doom. Just stop it. They are painting him into a bad corner. He just gets more and more powerful and eventually that plot device gets old. Matter of fact, have him fall out completely. No more cosmic reality magic or wealth or sorcery ****. Put him on the street, disgraced and without power other than his mind and let him slowly build himself back up. I'd dig a doom story where he simply outsmarts everyone without having to be more powerful than them. Doom's real power is his mind, they should get back to that and less just dragon ball Zing him up a notch.

Venom. The story with venom should be about the symbiote not the host. Get back to that. There's much more depth and a better story there than in Brock or Gargan or anyone else. The only pacifist member of it's race, the first to learn emotions and it's betrayed by spider-man, neglected and abandoned so it's feelings of love twist to hate. It's really just an orphaned child trying to find acceptance and a place. The rant at the end of Spider-Man: Reign will always be the best rendition of venom I've seen.

Mutants. Stop whining so much and do some heroic stuff that doesn't just involve other mutants. Maybe save some non mutants from some nonmutant threat, just to change it up? Also I want more Mr. Sinister and his wacky experiments.

The superhero/teams that I've loved since I was a kid are Spider-Man, Captain America, The Avengers, and The X-Men. They are the only books that I've followed faithfully in the good times and bad. Right now Cap and The Avengers stock is very high and the X-Men are okay...not great, not terrible, just okay.

That leaves good old Spidey. While I'm enjoying most of the BND stuff (about 80%), I would change Spidey by trying to get past OMD/BND as fast as possible. It's been 2 years and it's still lingering. It's alienated and annoyed many. Just wrap it up already and move on. Answer all of the questions, like "What did MJ say to Mephisto?" ect, ect. If Marvel doesn't want Pete married, fine. Just put a ribbon on it and keep it moving, just like Revelations did for the Clone Saga.

I would give Blade more & more of a back story than Marvel has done... make sure he doesn't have a GF.

Revamp Iron Man's villains. He could have a really cool and deadly rogues gallery if they got updated.

Mandarin, Ghost and Whiplash are a good start.

I think Mandarin and the Ghost, at least, show that Marvel's already trying to revamp Iron Man's villains. I haven't seen Whiplash in anything lately, but he's got a mini-series coming out soon, right?

Yeah the first two issues are out already, and that new Whiplash is in continuity with 616 Iron Man. IIRC, that story supposedly takes place before Secret Invasion.
