I've got nothing funny to say, but I am a proud American. I was born in another country and lived in 8 others (my dad's a scientist) by the time I moved here at 16. There's not another place I would rather be, well maybe Japan, but I spent a year there. I always find it funny Americans wearing revolutionary T-shirts and talking about how awesome communism is ... yet they have never been to a communist country. Not fun on any level.

I've been to Spain, Russia, France, and the U.K. and would rather live in the U.S. I love this country, but do not like the things the government has done (Iraq war, Patriot Act, the whole Iran-Contra affair, etc). Still a great country though, and I'm happy to live here.
