I wouldn't mind a few bats roosting up in my attic (if I had one) but yeeeah...a few hundred would definitely cause problems. On the show Dirty Jobs, they went into a real batcave once and had to have oxygen tanks with them, since the ammonia from the guano would burn their lungs. Mike Rowe got his boots stuck in the 2-ft layer of guano as well. Great show, btw.
