Seriously

Gwen giving Spider-Man a kiss. What the heck! Not really even so much that she gave, rather that he kissed her like it was no big deal. It was totally out of character.

Spidey is confident in himself because the whole City loves him and everything is going great for him. so he makes nothing of the Kiss. so I think the Kiss was a great idea, especially for the love triangle of this film.

Heh, the guy was living the life.

He felt like he could do anything he wanted to at that moment.

I didn't mind it that much, though you're right. He doesn't think of the consequences of publicly kissing GINO so it's a WTF moment.

What really baffled me was MJ being so insulted when that's all she did to peter in the first two movies.

all I could think at the time was
how great would it have been if she just pulled the mask all the way down in front of that whole crowd...

The movie was going good until Venom asked Sandman for help, after that i just pretty much hung my head and could barely watch the rest.

Perfect moment for me. The look on MJ's face was priceless.

When you're on top of the world, somethings are easier to brush off. Peter probably thought MJ wouldn't give a flying ****.

Yes, Spidey is WAY too trusting with his mask in these movies. One hard yank from Gwen and the mystery would have been over.

I think a guy who can dodge bullets could've prevented that from happeneing.

As for the kiss? Come on. He was having fun and as Raimi said, being full of himself. So then it was supposed to be out of character. And as someone mentioned months ago, MJ is an actress and would probably regurlarly kiss men she's performing with, so what's the biggy? If crap like this "ruins" the movie for some of you, may I suggest Power Rangers?

Big Spoiler!

Seriously!

Fine, I warned you!

I forgot to mention the fact he hit MJ. Ruined it for me. All I can think about Spidey now is as a woman beater.

Uh...duh, that's an important scene. It shows just how powerful the symbiote's hold on him is.

Cut that scene out, and you're cutting out the heart of the symbiote story.

How strong the hold is? Or how weak he was? I don't go see superhero movies to watch them smake around women.

He didn't intentionally hit her either. The bouncers were all over him and he didn't know it was MJ coming up behind him, and he lost control.

What are you, 12?

Get over it, seriously. Maybe he should've just stuck his tongue out at her. That would've been really dramatic.

Oh, and...learn how to spell before somebody "smakes" you.

Problem is that the Peter/MJ/Gwen love triangle wasn't really used that well in the movie at all! Hell, Raimi did a better job briefly brining back the Peter/Harry/MJ love triangle, which I did not expect at all! They could have did the Gwen vs. MJ love conflict much better. Throw Eddie Brock in the mix (he WAS Gwen's boyfriend) and you'd have a much more complex love angle.

Hey, in his defense....he's a Hulk fan. Too much of that and your IQ starts feeling the effects...

:whatever: Oh grow up. And it's "twelve" not "12".:whatever: How does something like that really push the discussion forward?

The trailers ruined and spoiled the movie for me. They showed too much of the movie. It practically summarized SM3! :woot:

That ruined the entire movie? Are you for real?

Dac Man is that little kid that begged Spidey not to kiss Gwen. He was hilarious BTW.
