Not a bad choice. I've liked his work in the films I've seen him in.

I have no idea who Kretchmann is, as it's been a while since I saw Wanted and King Kong and don't watch Dracula.

But he's hot, and now I have very complex feelings for hot racist Baron Von Strucker.

I can recall the name, but I can't remember seeing him in anything.

Just googled a bit and found out he actually played Lord Damaskinos in Blade II.

Well at least he looks decent bald.

I hope Strucker is bald, by the way.

    OH GOD THAT'S HIM?!

Well, he's definitely good at disappearing under tons of makeup and character. He'll do.

Cool, I hope that they're setting him up to be a recurring villain in the MCU, perhaps even appearing in Cap 3. Strucker isn't the type of villain that you dispose of in a cold opening to a movie and then never use again, it'd be a waste.

I like it. He has grown so much as an actor since he's working in the US and even his earlier work like La Reine Margot was awesome. Even a way better choice than Til Schweiger, whom I preferred originally

Awesome casting. I've always liked his work and will make a great Von Strucker.

I had no idea Krestchmann was Damaskinos under that make up in Blade 2.

Don't know much about him so can't judge him until we actually see him on screen. Interesting that he could eventually be in multiple films, but that's true for anyone Marvel signs.

Another welcome addition to the MCU.

I like that the article suggests we'll be seeing a lot of Von Strucker as Krestchmann is signed for multiple films.

Maybe he's captured in the beginning of AoU (for connection to the plot in CATWS), locked up, and broken out in the rumored prison break scene.

Also...maybe HYDRA has some hand in corrupting the technology that creates Ultron.

Perfect casting. Intense German with deep, mysterious villain experience. He'll be great.

Great news. Love his work. Impressed me in Downfall and I really liked him in King Kong and Wanted.
