In it, you'll see a teeny animated Thor smashing stuff. Interesting looking horned creature shows up at the end . . . could that be inspired by Kurse? Kurse isn't supposed to be that big, is he?

Nope, not that big. Doesn't look like the MCU Kurse either. Have you seen the toy yet??

The problem is this event takes place in a day or two, idk really know at what commercial break they might show the footage, if it is even new.

The problem is this event takes place in a day or two, idk really know at what commercial break they might show the footage, if it is even new.

Well I have a DVR so if I miss the initial recording I can always go back and record anything shown, I will make sure to get all 3 hours set up just in case. However we can only hope that it is new footage, I would assume so since they are also showing Cap and Guardians, and I want to get those as well.

This has been really bugging me, but it is due to The Lone Ranger that Thor got pushed back to November 8th... We would be getting it this Friday otherwise -_-

Oh, speaking of this Friday, I would like to point out that under the description of the Thor: The Dark World forum section it still says that it will release on July 26th, if anyone feels like correcting that. It just keeps starring me in the face as something that could have been.

See for me it would make infinitely more sense that it's Tyr. I'm sure the trailer is edited in such a way that could possibly confuse people.

Did anyone catch the IGN interview with Feige where he said that TDW would go deeper into the mythology of the gods, including some mention of Odin's father? I know nothing about that stuff, so it'll be interesting to see.

Nope. TDW getting pushed back had nothing to do with LR. Pretty sure it was mostly due to production schedule.

LR was originally Dec 21, 2012.
Thor was originally (and tentatively) set for July 26, 2013. (as reported on June 30 2011)

But on Oct 13, 2011 they both got new dates (& Patty Jenkins was officially announced to direct), LR for May 31 2013, & TDW for Nov 15 2013. Disney's "Phineas & Ferb took July 26.

I was talking about this article saying that the dates were being pushed due to the Lone Ranger.

Although I haven't truly been following the release dates for these movies until pretty recently, so I may be and probably am wrong for believing in one article. My point was that we would have been getting the movie pretty soon, and now we have to wait for the movie to come out within the next 3-4 months depending on which country you live in.

Nothing except for The Wolverine that I know of, but I am saying the description of this movie on this forum section says the movie is released on July 26th. If you go to the Thor Sub-Forums and read the description for Thor: The Dark World, it states that the movie releases July 26th when it sadly does not.
