What it boils down to is sam is a lot like el maybe, in that in order to get attention he throws as much crap at the wall as possible, counting on at least a turd or two to stick. And he HATES it when you point out the obvious flaws in his little theories, and gets bitter and starts nursing a grudge over it. Simple as that, really.

No. Plenty of people on these forums have wild theories. Your problem is every time you state a theory you profess them as FACT, Obvious Fact and then you proceed to try and make others feel stupid for not believing you. And then when you are wrong you are silent or try and modify you next "obvious fact"

The problem with the Dark Elves speaking in their own tongue is that its a cool idea in theory, but didn't work all that well in practice. It was hard to keep up with some (not all) or the scenes and try to read subtitles at the same time.

That's all I was saying. Mal gets plenty of screen time in this film and has much to say. It's just that most of it is in a foreign language and the viewer is too busy looking down at some words on the screen, whereby disconnecting from the emoting and whatnot.

funny. I remember a lot of complaining about the Germans in CATFA not speaking German with subtitles but English with accent instead. IIRC the general consensus was that subtitles were preferred because then CATFA wouldn't have been dumbed down.
I'm too lazy to search for all this posts but they are still around I guess.

That had more to do with historical authenticity though, much like the swastika thing that we had a faction of people pining for. Can't say that for the Dark Elves.

See, I really dont agree with half of Malekith's lines being in subtitles effecting peoples perception of him, at all. Reading subtitles in the likes of Inglorious Basterds, Pans Labyrinth, even The Wolverine or any number of awesome other foreign movies didnt mean I enjoyed them any less or their characters.

Malekith was just a poor villain, plain and simple, other than Loki Marvel just cant seem to get the villains right in these movies.

If you don't agree with my ideas, fine and dandy. It's not going to hurt my widdle feelings one way or another if you choose to agree or disagree with them. But I'm not going to stand around and watch somebody belittle or insult my opinions as "wild, crazy, bizarre, ******ed, stupid, insane, goofy" or anything else.
