You know etymolgical there is a reason why it is called 'frigid'
Good call Freshy
We all knew it lol A downgrade from Mads, but keeping my expectations low.
I definitely wouldn't call Eccleston a downgrade from Mads. I'm even more excited about CE joining because I've loved everything I've seen him in, from Doctor Who to Heroes to Jude, just to name a few.
I read that and got REALLY excited. Im gonna be honest its mostly that he was my first Doctor. And for whatever reason in my head it kinda confirms Malekith. But I could be very very wrong
Eccleston's pretty cool, I really only know him from his bit on Heroes but he's quality.
he was on heroes? And there needs to be a physical threat for Thor
He was such a big highlight for me during the first season of Heroes that I watched his run on Doctor Who, then proceeded to do a little mini-marathon of his movies. He's a brilliant actor, I think.
Out of most of the news about this movie, this has me the most excited!
I'm still hoping for executioner and enchantress to appear.
As someone who's never seen Dr Who or Heroes I mostly know him as the bad guy from Gone in 60 Seconds
Aye, he was Claude the invisible man.
Man, I loved that show. Why did it have to go all to hell?
He was! I must have seen that movie a hundred times and never made that connection.
Seems like a good choice. Still wondering who and what else we'll see in this movie. Malekith is a necessary stop on the road to Surtur, but maybe not right away. It would be cool, though.
Is it just me or does this guy have a remarkable resemblance to Ralph Fiennes?lol
I thought the same thing
Yeah I remember him from Heroes and G.I. Joe, I think he'll do a good job!
Excellent news. He's a top class actor.
actually thought he was the only good thing about GI Joe. totally forgot he was in Heroes. just watched Sherlock Holmes 2 a few days ago and was thinking hed be awesome in a Marvel movie. plus he actually kinda looks like malekith. huge win in my book. raised my excitement bhig time
And this is why
You do know Christopher Eccleston isn't in Shelock Holmes?
You cant blame him for confusing Eccleston with Eddie Marsan
Guh! All Marvel has to do is cast Cumberbatch in a movie AND I WILL LOVE THEM FOREVER!!
YOU HEAR ME, MARVEL?! FOREVER!!
I think Thor comes out the day after my birthday, Nov. 7th, next year. Heh, thanks for the slightly late birthday present Marvel Studios.
