I'd have to agree with this Flickchick as well. The Script doesn't go into GREAT detail from what we've heard from the rumors of those who've had a sneak peek of the film, the Script is not as detailed as some of those rumors.
Even still, with what IS in the script you can tell the fight scenes will be alittle better....there are more people INVOLVED in them. :D

Wow, they're better on paper than even TIH's fight scenes? Niceeee

Cool, super powers & magic plus fluid and well excecuted straight forward combat = EPIC

Like I said BT without reading the script and spoiling things for you there isn't another way to explain the fights other than that.
TIH had it's moments but the "abundance" of Characters fighting and doing their "thing" during them in Thor to ME tops TIH.

Great, I can't wait to see those scenes unfold on the big screen.

I really really hope the 2nd trailer comes out tomorrow.

Keep it mind though on paper TIH's fights were alot bigger with more action than what we got in the end.

Well Kirmit from spoilers from those who've seen a screening of the rough cut, there are things not IN the script that ARE on the film.

To me between the two I'm a very happy man. lol

    Really, I didn't know that :(

I hope that means that their are things IN the film regarding action sequences that are NOT in the script :word:.

If Vartha's happy then that is a very good sign for the rest of us Thor fans.

I wouldn't trust the screenplays words as the ultimate dictator on how it will end up on screen. Ken is the dictator. Does he have the ability to bring to life the scenes described? Will he transcend the words? Will he underwhelm for various reasons?

In a way what Nuffsaid just related, you can't go COMPLETELY by what in the script. It works both ways, there can be things IN the script that don't show up in the film, and there can be action scenes that might not have been added at the time this script was written.

    "Lightning Clash Thor"
    "Battle Hammer Thor"
    "Sword Spike Thor"
    "Secret Strike Loki"
    "Shield Bash Marvel's Odin"

One of these things is not like the others... Did somebody else somehow manage to copyright the name "Odin"?

But isn't Odin in the public domain, on account of the fact that he existed like a thousand years before anyone had ever heard of copyrights?

I've seen it spelled Odinn too, It'd be interesting to see why they've had to add "Marvel's" to it.

EDIT: Wonder if it has something to do with the Kirby kids?

    Meeeh, I'll pass on those.

Marvel Select ones & Hot Toys Thor - yes, please + I'm still hoping for Hasbro to release the 6inch Thor Movie line.
