Do they make figures of all the main characters or just the lead?
Most of the times - yes. For example, Iron Man line got:
* MKI-VI Armors
* Whiplash (MKI)
* War Machine
* Tony in test suit from the first movie
* Black Widow
And soon the Iron Monger will join this line.
Thanks RIM, as always you're a beacon of information.
No pro, can't wait for the brand new Super Bowl tv-spot)
Holy crap those spoilers sound awesome. I couldn't help myself, I'm so weak. Very cool stuff, though.
I always say I won't look at spoilers like these before a movie comes out. I have a shiny new penny for the person who accurately predicts how successful I am at this.
Thanks for the news of the day, once again, Super Hero Hype!
Question - was Hydra mentioned?
Yes, in the interrogation scene Agent Coulson asks Thor is he is a mercenary then comments that Hydra pays well.
Yeah, there's some good stuff in there.
One of the scenes that made me lol was
when Thor goes into a pet shop asking for a horse
Dude, it's obvious to me now where they are going with The Avengers.
Thor enters the store and approaches a PET STORE CLERK.
I need a horse.
PET STORE CLERK
Sorry, we dont sell horses. Justdogs, cats, birds.
Then give me one of those, large enough to ride.
The Pet Store Clerk looks confused.
Oh totally. They even mention the [BLACKOUT]Tesseract[/BLACKOUT] in it. I think Averngers is Loki + Red Skull and Hydra. Maybe even Justin Hammer?
I'm torn on the Hot Toys figure. The detail is rediculous as always for HT but it also excentuates the "missed opportunities" in the costume design. The thing that bugs me most is the hair styling. Why they went with a side part I'll never understand. My inner fanboy wil probably force me to purchase though.
I just skimmed the spoilers to make sure no one was posting links to the actual script itself, but I couldn't help noticing a little f***-up in the article: [BLACKOUT]"Dr. Francis Pym"[/BLACKOUT]? lulz, someone on that site needs to read some Avengers comics.
yeah, i caught that too i guess [BLACKOUT]frank[/BLACKOUT] does sound a bit like [BLACKOUT]hank[/BLACKOUT] though
It didn't make sense to me until I thought of the nicknames, but yeah, they're similar. Still, rookie mistake.
I noticed that. Francis Pym was a long-time British politician who died a few years ago. The writer probably just transposed the names in his head and didn't catch it.
Or they're screwing with us and Ultron takes the name Francis to blend in while he develops his plans to kill all of us meatbags!
I actually rather like that second one.
[BLACKOUT]Francis[/BLACKOUT] is Hawkeye's middle name
that's a common misconception, hawkeye's middle name is ****ing. clint ****ing barton. true story
Going close this before TM comes in and make a mess, please make a new thread people
