I just don't hear These. I've had this same discussion over on the Thor boards. A reason I'd like to see the Script. lol

You might not hear it but it's the only one that makes sense in this context. When you have a enumeration of words, you refer to them as always plural, not singular.

Most transcripts from the trailer have it as "these" too.

    do you have the transcript?
I'm not saying you're wrong, it's just what I hear, and I've listened to the footage (several versions) and hear the same thing. :woot:

Love the screen shots - Thanks for posting. It's really cool to see some of the details that fly by when watching the trailer in real time.

Marvel really should give the rights to other companies, because Sega clearly suck right now.

Btw, how come it's the Oklahoma edition? Should it be New Mexico instead?

What would be cool is if I could figure out how to make a Screen Saver using the shock-wave with chunks of rock flying at you.:woot:

Ditto. If Sega knew how to make games, Sonic would still be a character of relevance in the gaming world, rivaling Mario's popularity.

What Marvel actually needs to do is to actually start the game project a little bit before the film's pre-production starts. This will give the designer enough time to actually make a decent game instead of shoehorning a ******** game every year along with the movies...

I'm hearing the same as you: "Responsibility, Duty, Honor is not
mere virtues to which we must aspire"

Can't say that sounds right though. Don't know about how it would have been phrased in Shakespeare's days but I'd have thought "are not mere virtues" would be the correct way (with an "and" after "duty") so it'd read ""Responsibility, Duty and Honor are not mere virtues to which we must aspire".
No big deal either way :yay:

It was cool getting that little glimpse of Volstagg. Looks like the big fools gone and got himself wounded again lol

It'd be awesome if Volstagg just saunters up to the Destroyer and goes, "Hold, friend! All this destruction looks like thirsty work. Why not come sit down, have a drink, and we'll talk this out?" And then the Destroyer promptly puts him through a wall. :hehe:

I just rewatched the SDCC trailer and the difference in the lighting of the Jotunheim scenes between then and now is pretty cool

Wish I could post screenshots of the old footage to demonstrate

You know. They could easily throw in a scene like that...it fits the humor of the film.

I think Volstagg, Kat Dennings, and Coulson are gonna be the main sources of humor. That would probably be the best fit, leaving Thor and Loki and the other main characters to be more growly and serious.

I think Fandral's womanizing will be a running joke as well

That'd be cool, but I wonder if they'll even have time to get to that. Usually, unless a story is dedicated specifically to the Warriors Three, Hogun and Fandral tend to come off like the straight men to Volstagg's fool.

I'd watch a romantic comedy about Tony and Fandral competing for Pepper's affections, by affections I mean booty.

Chris on Thor trailer, costume & the Avengers!

"It was surprising, I've seen about as much footage as most people, which was very minimal, and that was hugely exciting. Just, like, ‘Give me more, please!'

I finished the film six months ago, which means there's this lead up of sort of what's to come and now it's all starting to heat up. And obviously important to me and it's exciting and it's a mixture of things going through my head!

The costume was incredible. When you put that thing on and it's just sells such a great image. Working with the people I got to work with, and the amazing sets – Thor was just an incredible character that's been around for a long time, and it was an honor just to be asked to come and portray him for the film.

I haven't seen anything," he reiterated when quizzed about The Avengers and how work on that movie is progressing. "There have been secret meetings with director Joss Whedon and those guys but no official script yet."
