Not sure why I don't remember him doing that. I remember him going on the building and calling a storm but not the strike to the tunnel.

Agreed BigThor from the previous thread. I would like to see Thor as a credible super-powered being even if he lost Mjolnir for good and separately would love to see his elemental powers used a lot more often so he can live up to his title.

Hopefully the movie allows Thor to bring out his inner power. That way he can have the confidence to perform cooler moves and combos when he gets the hammer back. He seems to only toss it and call it back in the MCU. I want him to charge it up with some lightening, create some whirlwinds and stuff.

I would like to see a lot more variety consistently in the way Thor uses his powers. Unlike quite a lot of other heroes he has a lot of things in his arsenal and I don't want to see him focus too much on punching and hitting guys with his hammer (or even doing WWE moves lol). We have seen hints of what else he can do but I would like to see these more exotic techniques integrated into his fighting more often.

If the obedience disk was visible, I would have loved Thor, after a couple minutes fighting and stalemate, to 'let' Hulk hit him but position the obedience disk in the way of the blow, to destroy it.

Can just imagine with Hemsworth's acting and comedic skills, he could make us both chuckle and wince with him as he decides to take the punch.

Of course, I would just prefer him to cut lose and fry the obedience disk himself, but the other scene is an option if they don't want our hero to really 'hero' at that point.

It would be nice to see more exotic techniques. With him being son of Odin, I wonder if he had training from people of other realms. Thor couldn't possibly of trained himself and should have a ton of skill .

It would be nice during his travels if he drops in the names of a few guys from around the universe who he has received different kinds of training from.

A full array of Thor's powers, combining his strength and physical toughness, weather control and his inborn energies (God blast perhaps?) would make for one hell of a cinematic sequence. Imagine him in one fight simultaneously bringing down lightning, gail force winds, pumpkin sized hail while stomping mudholes dry in fools with his bare hands, chucking debris at enemies and then unleashing a God Blast from Mjolnir to cap it off?

We NEED to see that happen one day. Probably likely in a one-on-one against someone who is tougher than the regular version of Thor. All of that combined will only do so much against Thanos with the stones but at least it would be a crazy spectacle. I would like to see everyone going beast mode once Thanos' defences are down.

I find it quite boring if Thor is totally reliant on his hammer and not at least powerful on some level without. I prefer the hammer to just be a huge bonus.

I suspect we will see Thor evolve into a higher state of being, as he discover & learn to access & control the power within....as the timing is much needed, heading forward into Avengers:IW

I hope so, and there are certainly signs of it happening. The team are gonna need the true big guns like Thor at the peak of their powers during IW and probably more so at the climax of Avengers 4.

Thor is my favorite all time character (maybe Doctor Strange, but an edge to Thor because I read Norse mythology as a youngster), but it would be nice to get a straight answer out of him every now and again. I think it's hilarious that some still take him completely seriously on twitter. A few weeks ago he posted a picture of Cate Blanchett at Comic-Con and said something along the lines of that he loved working with so many Australian actors like Naomi Watts and the whole following thread was just 50+ replies saying 'Uh, that's Cate Blanchett!' as if he didn't know who'd he just directed for like three months. The guy is a world class troll, as seen recently with the whole runtime issue, he loved putting the cat amongst the pigeons like that. t: I understand wanting a straight answer every now and then though, not that we'd trust him anway, lol.
