I hope so. Again, that just makes for a great visual.
I think it's hilarious that some still take him completely seriously on twitter. A few weeks ago he posted a picture of Cate Blanchett at Comic-Con and said something along the lines of that he loved working with so many Australian actors like Naomi Watts and the whole following thread was just 50+ replies saying 'Uh, that's Cate Blanchett!' as if he didn't know who'd he just directed for like three months. The guy is a world class troll, as seen recently with the whole runtime issue, he loved putting the cat amongst the pigeons like that.
t: I understand wanting a straight answer every now and then though, not that we'd trust him anway, lol.
Bunch of a-holes.![]()

I think the obedience disk will be used when both thor and hulk goes beast mode and start destroying the arena

'Thor: Ragnarok' expands the Marvel universe in ways creative (an evil reindeer goddess) and bold (a new look, a new sound)
Thor: Ragnarok might be the third title in the Marvel Cinematic Universe about the god of thunder, but this colorful deviation is no mere knockoff of its predecessors. Gone are the golden turrets of Asgard, overthrown by the goddess of death (played by Cate Blanchett), whose 80s metal band swagger debuted at Comic-Con, setting fans on fire. The serious Nordic costumes have been electrified with Jack Kirby-inspired cosmic blues and reds. And instead of leaning on choral anthems, the new score will usher in a synth symphony channeling the hypnotizing sounds of Jean-Michel Jarre. The driving force behind these electric, retro-tinged changes is director Taika Waititi, best known for writing and directing the cult comedies "Hunt for the Wilderpeople" and "What We Do in the Shadows.
Ragnarok, which opens Nov. 3, finds Thor imprisoned on the planet Sakaar, where he must fight to survive in the Grandmasters gladiator games. Its the stuff of life and death. But Waititi didnt lose sight of the fact that its still entertainment. If we were taking things a little too seriously, I would say, Never forget that we're making a cosmic adventure with a space Viking, said the director by phone. That sort of captures it all. We've got the Incredible Hulk, and a giant woman with antlers. We've got aliens and spaceships. It's almost like a bunch of kids were asked what they wanted to put into a movie, and then we just did that.
And while its easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of Waititis aesthetic changes (Thor cut his hair!), perhaps the most exciting addition to the Marvel universe is the new cast members, who feel like they were plucked from a late night, Internet fan casting session. All your faves are in this flick. Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban, Rachel House and the aforementioned Blanchett are all part of Waititis space Viking opus.
So we rounded up the newbies to find out who theyre playing and what its like being on team Marvel.

Rachel House (Topaz)
Shes Waititis good luck charm. House has been in nearly all of the directors films. Houses character here is yet another great warrior who works for the Grandmaster as a sort of bodyguard.
She's a little bit strict with him at times, said House. But she's also quite petulant, when he shows his affections toward other people: not happy, very protective and easily jealous.
Some new footage bits i accidentally found in the International Trailer 3. The russian one. Stop the International Trailer at 1:10 and the Teaser Trailer at 1:21. They added what looks like the "obedience disk" on Thor's neck.

The headdress is such a huge part of when she comes into the height of her powers in the film, Blanchett said.
I think you might be on to something.I read a quote from Cate Blanchett that made me think quite a bit about the destruction of mjolnir and what happens afterwards.
I'm now of the opinion that "Soul Stone" is/was inside Mjolnir all along. My theory is that i think the "Soul Stone" used to belong to Hela. It was the source of her power and it makes total sense since she is/was the Goddess of Death and ruler of a realm with the souls of the dead. And this would line up with other powerful artifacts that we're in the Nine Realms like the "Casket of Ancient Winters" that belonged to Laufey in the first Thor and the "Aether aka Reality Stone" in the hands of Malektih.
When Hela fought against the Valkyries she was in the "height of her power". She had the headress and the suit/armour was totally 100%. We know that Hela has been imprisioned which i am guessing has to do with that battle against the Valkyries as well. My guess is that Odin came in and was able to imprison a weakened Hela by taking the "Soul Stone" out of her possession. I think that Odin put it into Mjolnir and used the worthiness enchantment to have it secure in there and the "Soul Stone" would always recognized who was worthy or not. Also he knew it would be secure in Thor hands and would provide his son a powerful weapon.
When Hela arrives on Earth she doesn't have the headress only normal hair and the suit/armour is all torn apart filled with holes. She in that form is able to grab Mjolnir easily and crush it. I think that has to do with Hela being the rightful owner of the "Soul Stone" and with that being "worthy" of the hammer since what inside was her's all along.
When she destroys Mjolnir she absorbs a orange essence that gives her back the headress and a fully fixed and 100% looking suit/armour. We know that the "Soul Stone" is orange, we have seen the color before...
