I am not liking Valkyrie's look here at all. She looks out of place. I am not getting a "great warrior" vibe from her at all.

I am also worrying that the humor and tone will be out of place and too Guardians of the Galaxy-ish (I love the Guardians movies but I already have them, Thor should be its own thing).

I think it's awesome all of it. I'm so damn HYPED!!
And there is so much we haven't seen yet. All of those photos are on Skaar the gladiatorial planet. We still have Asgard, Hel, Muspelheim... Skurge, Surtur, Fenris Wolf, Odin, The Warriors Three...

Marvel did go all out on this, built massive sets for the movie, brought in a very talented director, Taika Waititi, and gave him the best cast of a Marvel movie ever. I think this movie is gonna be off the chain awesome. Can't wait for the trailer.

Well a great warrior is more than just their clothing. Maybe thats what the director and actress were going for. A more plain no nonsense warrior that doesnt look like much but can actually really kick some ass.

Maybe she will work better in the movie than she does in still photos, but for now the actress looks miscast with a boring and uninspired design.

I'm getting a Star Wars vibe from some of those background characters, I kinda like that. Also I have never been more attracted to Cate Blanchett than I am now seeing her as Hela.

Absolutely. I am getting that vibe too.
A sci fi, fantasy, adventure, 80's style movie... just like it was announced to be. I think we have the making of a epic movie right here.

I'm really curious about those symbols an face paint on Thor. There's gotta be some significance to them.

Indeed. Some of it looks like writing while the face could just be smeared on quickly.
Quite odd.

While I'm a mild purist (long hair etc), I'm liking Thor's look.

Thor works well with short hair, Cate can rock anything, and I like how the Grandmaster has his visual cues from the Collector.
