Ehh i still see it making at least 600 million WW.

I think Cap will be ok in the US. But internationally? I fear it might bomb. And that's a shame, because for me it looks like the best superhero movie this summer.

Well I was only refering to HP's range domestically. 300M(give or take 5M) tops for it. Had they not done that though, HP7 could have done 350-375M domestic with the whole last hurrah push it would've got like ROTS did. But the HP film last year kinda undercuts what this last film will do. Not only did they draw it out to make more money but it hasn't even been a year since the last film. That almost always spells trouble. People aren't given enough space to feel the need for a new HP film build up. The average/casual fan'll be like "Hey, we just saw one 8 months ago."

I dunno, this will be the last Potter film. It's the grande finale. I see it dominating. Especially internationally.

A grand finale that doesn't mean as much anymore to many a casual viewer. Internationally, sure...it'll be big. Domestically? Same as the rest of the HP films(in other words, no big deal). That's my prediction for it.The first HP film is it's highest grossing film domestically(and you don't even need to adjust for inflation) and I highly doubt the last will dethrone it.

1.5M a day for 4 days is a good opening in Australia.

I hope that Fast Five didn't make $24 million from Australia alone.

Internationally yes, in the states it will be very good, but not spectacular and mostly front loaded. Forwhatever reason the States have not been as crazy about the last few potter films, especially the ones Yates directed.

S.A.A.D always talking about stuff he has no idea about. I'm sure it's only another ''opinion''.

If you think that those numbers couldn't have gone any higher, then I don't know what to say to you. :whatever:

It's a fairly good number. Nothing amazing (and for some reason I doubt it'll do much better in the US) but Thor was always a risk and as long as it makes a healthy profit and raises Avengers awareness marvel will be happy enough.

^^ and where does that number come from...source?

50m opening in the US would be absolutely horrible,
we could say goodbye to a sequel, and hello to a smaller role for Thor in Avengers
