Smurfed him up bad.
in all my years I have never seen anyone get so smurfed up
I'd hate to be the guest of Echostation at a Blue Man Group show.
Maybe He has some issues with the Blue Brothers...
he freaked out during Avatar
Wow, what's the deal with that guy?
Anyways, I wonder Sif, Hogun, & Volstagg are ever going to wear they're helmets in battle?
I did not freak out during Avtar, it was a grand experience to behold, a true Blue original show stopper unlike other copy cats following suit
enough on that though. Thor's pants still need to have more decoration, they just look like dark Cargo pants...
Did somebody just call Avatar original?
I think a small portion of Hell froze over.
Everything's original if you haven't seen the material they ripped off!
there was alot of originality in Avatar...not the story but then again Dances with Wolves ripped that story off too.
The only unoriginal part of Avatar was the story
I loved Avatar but even I had to wince when one person online described it as 'Dances with Wolves meets Ferngully'.......ouch.
Avatar gets a lot of hate because pointing out the flaws in an action-packed film that became the biggest movie of all time is an easy way to make yourself look intelligent and sophisticated.
But despite it's flaws it is still the highest grossing movie of ALL TIME
I liked it even if it was formulaic. Sure ya knew what was coming, but it was well done.
I still say if Hollywood had any balls they would make an Evangelion Movie, and that could be the next big thing... but instead we get Transformers and what will probably be a simmilarly dumbed down Voltron for our giant robot fare.
You've got a warped view of the world if you think critiquing Avatar on the net makes people look intelligent and sophisticated.
People tear it apart because story-wise it was very cookie cutter and didn't bring enough of anything else to the table to make up for that fact.
It did, however, bring a lot of asses to theater seats. Quality doesn't really enter the equation; it becomes part of the collective consciousness simply by virtue of practically everyone in the world having seen it.
Yeah, sometimes movies transcend what they are and become a cultural phenomenon.
Star Wars: A New Hope - I'm looking at you.
Haha, yes, A New Hope is technically not that great a movie, but it holds a special place in every kid's heart. Granted, since its release, it's become the basis for just another formula that studios milk to stagnation. Another generation or two and people will wonder what the fuss was about because they'll just see it as "the older version" of any number of sci fi/fantasy adventures they were introduced to long before their parents told them about Star Wars.
Man I can't wait to see the full effects on Thor's costume.
We've seen the disc's on his costume light up, yet we haven't seen them do so in the trailer or SDCC footage.
Heck Mjolnir's been shown glowing in art yet, (not that I'm complaining) yet we've only seen Mjolnir do lightning and getting tossed.
I'm not one of the people who does it, so my view of the world isn't warped.
I can't wait for trailer #2 so we can see a few new shots of Thor fighting The Destroyer, Frost Giants, & Loki. Hopefully it even shows or "hints" at Thor performing a feat of strength.
Mjolnir was indeed glowing in the trailer when Thor was about to strike the ground. I hope his eyes get filled with lightning before doing a major attack, like they do on Avengers EMH.
Comic books are actually filled with pictures. These pictures have colored with certain values. Midnight Blue and Mustard Yellow could work. The truth when it comes to Thor is that his blue yellow costume actually just sucks. Its not about an adaptation that might look bad, its that it was bad to begin with. Wolverine could be adapted because his suit is awesome.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Wow, different strokes, I guess. Wolver... man.
How many suits has Wolvie been through and how many has Thor?
