After Van Damme admitted he was on drugs and signed with Sony Pictures, all of his movies bombed in theaters. He's been banished to DTV hell, through he's grown as a actor and made some good movies in DTV Hell. Replicant, In Hell, Wake of Death, and The Hard Corps are all good movies that deserved some time of theater release. Hell, In Hell made 22.7 million in dvd and video rentals and even that couldn'tget him out of DTV.
According to imdb.com, Til Death has a theater release date of January 19th (friday) 2007. Nu-Image has worldwide rights but some of their movies have gone to theaters. 16 Blocks (WB) and Black Dhaili(sp?) (I believe Universal). If Sony Pictures doesn't get North American rights to this movie, it will most likely hit theaters in either limited or wide release.
