Anyone hear about this? Comes out sometime in 2008, and I can't wait. I've wanted a movie of a "dark" Alice for a long time, and I knew that American McGee's Alice was in development hell for a long time. But Burton's is coming out within a year!

EDIT: Argh, apparently it doesn't come out til 2010. Finishes filming in May 2008 though.

What the hell? Why would they need over a year and a half for post-production?

2010? Hot damn.
Well that'll give me enough time to watch the original Alice in Wonderland and learn what I can before this comes out. I saw a very little bit of the end this morning when I flipped through Disney, and it got my intrigued since I haven't seen it before.

That's the info I got from Wikipedia. I'm not sure why either.

It's gonna be motion-capture like Beowulf with live-action bits also. Maybe that makes it more difficult?

Yes, it takes nearly 2 years to complete post-production for mo-cap films.

Beowulf was filmed in 2005.

But this sounds great. :)

So, this will be some corpse bride, alla nightmare before xmas, willy wonka incarnation, and ofcourse will have johnny depp in it :)

Alice in Wonderland?..huh
ummmm, must be a rip off of that alice in underpants movie I saw

LOL

actually, him as the Mad hatter(despite his height) wouldn’t be horrible

I am interested to watch this.

As long as it's not claymation I will watch it.

I would have loved to see this in live-action, but if it's done Beowulf-style, that's close enough.

Anyone have details on the actual production?

I'm still looking forward to the one with Sarah Michelle Gellar more.

If this has johnny depp in it my head's going to explode.....

If he makes this movie, iam really going to see it.

I propose Alan Rickman as the voice of the cat...

This film will be amazing. Tim Burton + Alice in Wonderland = Movie greatness

Helena would make a wonderfully crazy Queen

Marilyn Manson is supposed to play the Queen of Hearts.
