The Knave of Hearts, played by Crispin Glover.

I think it's the Knave of Hearts. Which was a character from the book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. Plus the guy looks like Chrispin Glover which is who he's playing.

I gotcha. I knew that Crispin Glover was playing the Knave Of Hearts, but I thought maybe it was a different character altogether because in the first trailer, the Knave's eyepatch looked black to me.

Heh, that's what I thought when I saw the trailer. Still, it looks beautiful, and I like what I've seen of the plot. I wonder if those red and white chess pieces will do battle.

Well, there is the Rum Diaries.

Depp may end up one of those honorary recipients that everyone thinks won one because he put out such a beloved body of work, but just never got one.

I loved the trailer but where the hell was the Caterpillar?!?!?!?!?!?!? I must here Rickman's delivery.

It's essentially a sequel to the original story with a teenage Alice returning to Wonderland.
