^ she is so Beautiful. :fhm:

It looks like she's feeding someone with a giant spoon. My guess its for the cat, for his giant mouth.

My heart skips a beat each time I see Anne in this costume.

She's the one thing that made me go OMG wanna see! if it's in 2D... She's so pretty :yay:

This movie is gonna spark so many costume ideas for Halloween it ain't funny.

Burton i bow down to you. a f..... simple scene with Anne with a spoon looks like a gimmick 3D shot. it looks like a gimmick 3D in 2D.

is he insane or what?

^ if this movie was not in 3d. No one would point that shot out as a gimmick shot.
Plus its to the side, not in the center. :)

If I ever get married I'm going to ask my bride to be if she can look how Anne does in Alice in Wonderland. :woot:

I bet you are all sorry now that Burton didn't get to do Superman Lives! :awesome:

I've always been sorry about that since the beginning. :p

I don't plan on seeing the film in 3d, IMO a film that needs 3D to be good is not a good film.

It's just suddenly dawned upon me. Disney is a devious genius and this movie is no accident. Think about it... Disnet's original Alice in Wonderland has long been associated with the 'pot culture'. Disney knows this. That's why the movie's been re-released in the 1970s and 1980s, was amongst the first to made for home video and frequently shown at universities since the 1960s. Distributors even gave out instructions to cinema owners saying that ticket purchasers were going to be 'pot smoking teenagers and college kids who look outlandish and are prone to lying down on the aisles while they watch' and that they should be tolerated as they were likely to repeat view.

So, let's look at what Disney's set up... A bunch of very high college kids at the cinema. Watching the ever twisted world of Alice in Wonderland. Reimagined by Tim Burton. In 3D. :wow:

Think about it.

Quick question. Why is she called Alice Kingsley when it's supposed to be Alice Liddell?

Good question. Perhaps some legal issue?

There are two people working on this film that take me back to my youth, one is Linda Wolverton who wrote Beauty and the Beast. Michael Lantieri who did the special effects work on Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Jurassic Park and Hulk, the guy is a genius. Here's full listing of all the movies he's worked on.

Alice Liddell was the name of the girl Lewis Carroll based the character on but I don't believe 'Liddell' is actually ever mentioned in the books as her last name.

Have they gotten around to rating this yet? I already know PG for drug-addled imagery.
