Maybe they'll make a game out of it, like they're going to do with that Pac-Man episode:Would absolutely love a Mega Man series after the short ep in this.
I’ve watched the D&D and Armored Core episodes so far. Good stuff, but I’m kinda wondering what is the goal here? Like, I would gladly watch a whole series of either of those but it’s going to be pretty disappointing if I wait year or two for another 15-minute episode of each. I’m hoping future content will be longer because it all kinda feels like a tease.
Still, the D&D episode proved to me that you could do a serious Forgotten Realms TV series and make it work. I enjoyed the D&D movie from last year and I get why they made it so lighthearted. But as a fan of the darker and more serious D&D books and video games, I would love to see a series that explores all of that. I would happily watch these characters explore Faerun and maybe cross paths with Drizzt and Entreri at some point.
I agree on D&D. The movie was fun, but they tried to make a Guardians of the Galaxy type feature and appeal to as broad an audience as possible, but it didn't really work. At the same time, I'm not sure a big budget Forgotten Realms type movie would've worked either. I do think could maybe do an animated TV route.
Tim Miller needs to think bigger.
At the same time, it's hard for me to get excited about Secret Level since it's mostly a group of disparate shorts. We see shorts like this for throwaway game trailers quite often.
