I mean really. The guy has burned so many bridges, it's ridiculous.
He and HRG were on the same side... he killed HRG (and then brought him back, but still...)
He and Nathan were on the same side... he drugged Nathan and Tracy, strapped them down and experimented on them then proceeded to blame them, telling them that they "ruined everything" (Oh Mo... you've turned into quite an a**hole).
He and Peter got along okay... then he started working for Arthur and was ready to potentially curse Peter with the same side-effects that were plauging him.
He and Maya were banging... then he webbed her to a wall along with his other victims.

I suppose you could say that thats what villains do, but he doesnt seem like a villain as much as he does an annoying a**hole. Honestly, if the season doesnt end with him getting blown away The Fly-style, I'll be pretty disappointed. It seems like he's just doing the same old stuff.

I know what you are going through, Mohinder has become a villain

Mohinder should have been dead from the beginning of season two if not earlier. He's always been the weakest character on the show and it's because he's acted by the weakest actor on the show. To think they changed the character around to cast the guy playing him is just...

Going by his track record, Mohinder's due for another backstab. Perhaps Arthur this time? An eye for an eye to square it with Sylar, would be sufficient incentive, if you ask me. :cwink:

I think Maya should have killed him. Why did she stop? ugh that girl. I hope she's still around though, but i'm sad cause she's not on the cast lists :(

She was just eye candy...most people were annoyed by her. How does she not know that her brother died!?!?

Oh...my bad then. Alejandro had a pretty lame power....

As for Mohinder, he's pretty stupid now. Still don't have a clue to what exactly he is becoming. Scales and webs?

Mohinder should have died in season 1. I never liked him

lol he looks so much like his father *snickers*

Maybe they have him for cultural diversity?

Agreed. He needs to go as well as a few other characters which will enable the some a little space for screen time in order for further development.

I like Mohinder. And I hope he comes back around by the end of the season.

they won't kill him off...he narrates.

There was a rumour a while ago about Usutu replacing Mohinder as the narrator, the could work IMO.

I still like the guy they just have to give him a new story. He is always manipulated into helping the bad guys. but i think he is going to do more experiments and figure out how to give powers. He will then use it to restore Peter's powers which may result in arthur killing him.

I liked Mohinder for the most part but he is just getting old and not that interesting. You can tell its hard for the writers to find something to do with him nowadays. And unless they can find something interesting that doesnt involve him trying to get powers then might aswell kill him off.

I dont like him anymore either, i think its time to die too.

How could he blow it with a hot piece of ass like maya!!

Mohinder has been one of the biggest victims of shoehorning a character into force plots. Apparently the writers could care less about his character and are glad to make him stupid and evil randomly if it serves their purposes. The writers stopped valuing the character, and its been bad news ever since.

The best word for this is 'character assassination' and it reminds me a lot of what they did with Harold Perrineau (sp?)'s character on LOST. Make him so evil, for no reason, and then answer affirmatively when the fans call for his death. It's really, really sad writing, and until I see it happen to an Anglo-American character, stinks of subversive racism.

It's not subversive racism, it's just poor writing. They had no idea what to do with his character, it's almost like they were taking plot devices out of a hat. lets give mohinder powers.... lets make him evil... lets make him help the badguys with sciencey stuff, again.

It's simple. If the character has nowhere to go, end his chapter. Either kill him, or give him his happy ending. Don't shoot yourself in the foot by holding on hope that the character will fall into something interesting.

How is it forced plot? He took the serium...who WOULDN'T be tempted? Serium made him go nuts. Now he's crazy and thinks he's doing the right thing...but only in his own twisted view of things. Nothing random about it.

Bad writing can very easily be a result of subversive racism. It might not be, but what you've said doesn't disprove it in any way. A lack of thought towards making a character interesting can be just as much a function of racism as intentionally making the character evil/stupid. The former, in these days, is much more common.

who WOULDN'T be tempted?

A scientist with only one sample of his life's breakthrough work
A man who's beloved father was killed by someone who was hungry for powers
A man who was vulnerable, and out on the street and wasn't sure what the serum would do to him

And Me. I wouldn't be tempted to take an experimental serum when I could clearly spend a few months on it, as I was accustomed to doing with all the science I am excited about, and make a serum with predictable consequences.

I used to be one of those who defended Mohinder, he was one of my faves, but his character has been totally ruined, and I blame the writers, fans hate him, his story has become so stupid, all he has left to do is die.

Sorry Mo, I really liked you. :(

Hey if they do that for him than maybe I'll forgive him for every thing he's done in the past. peter could get revenge on his death which would be great for him to do :woot:

But if not yah Mohinder does indeed need to die, he's gotten so annoying.
