The embargo has been the same. Rises was 4 days before release, same with this movie.
Rises also had a twist :)

Ohhh didn't know that, the thing with Rises though was everyone knew those twists months before lol

If we're talking about the
Talia
twist then I didn't and neither did most the people I know who watched it. :funny:
I'm happy though, it worked better that way.

Nope. People knew all about the
John Blake ending
months before the movie came out as well.

This really wouldn't be any kind of spoiler to know......but when Superman is handcuffed and "imprisoned" by the military, do they come to know that the handcuffs and holding cell are a joke because Superman shows them they're not really holding him?

Yup.

If I HATE a lead character in a film, then the experience is screwed for me. You dislike Tony Stark from the comics, but then again, that's the comic version. The film should theoretically win you over to its own version.

Oh I get that. But hating a character, and hating the character in a film are 2 different things. The previous poster just said he hated Superman, not that he hated the MOS version of Superman.

Well when Cotilard was first cast there were rumours everywhere then we saw set pics of her wearing clothing similar to Ra's Al Ghul and that just cemented it lol

Shame we do get so much ruined for us these days it's good you didn't know, I'd have liked to have seen it without knowing the Talia and Robin twists.

Felt a bit rushed, but the chemistry was believable. I find the relationship in Iron Man better since it took two movies to reach the same point and Tony/Pepper had way more scenes together because it's over two movies.

You know they'll get together and it was just a matter of time (so it's not surprising). They could've held it off until MoS 2 (build up to it more) but they would've probably gotten a lot of negative backlash for that.

So by the end of the film are
Lois & Clark a couple?

Sounds like the climactic showdown lasts more than 10 minutes.

It's shorter than that for the 1v1. I think he's just referring to the entire Battle for Metropolis which is a few different pieces.

If anyone, and I mean anyone complains that there is "too much action" in this movie I will personally find you, and beat you within an inch of your life with a sack full of Superman Returns VHS tapes.

:super:

This is what the reviewer said:

... My only complaint with Man of Steel would be climatic showdown with Zod (Michael Shannon). Michael Shannon proves once again that no one can play intense crazy like him, but his fight scene with Superman is exhausting by the end of sequence. I think they could have chopped ten minutes out of the super brawl, but the Transformers audience of today who craves more and more spectacle may have a differing opinion than my own...

I am pretty sure he meant the 1-on-1 scene with Zod.
