IMO, TDRK is an example of something that's good but not great. Nothing wrong with that feeling, it is what it is. You enjoy the movie, but you don't fall in love with it.

I fell in love with it, but I will readily attest that it isn't TDK-level of ZOMG AMAZING. If it hadn't followed TDK, I think it would have had a better reception. But really, it's a pretty great movie.


My source messaged me today and says MOS was well-made, and that she liked it. It was LOUD though, so be forewarned. If you're a fan of Henry Cavill, you'll definitely love it. There was corny dialogue at times though. Oh, that Goyer.

It's a measured response, but keep in mind she's always had measured responses in reviewing movies like this. For After Earth (which as you know, is being eviscerated by the critics), she said it had a generic plot and didn't need the sci-fi angle. She didn't even say if she disliked it.

Lmao, exactly. We got to be thick skinned, people. For every 100 good reviews, there will be that ONE. I linked all over that chicks page and she has some red-flags are far as her personality goes. That aside, so far we got it made somebody weep, 11/10, 10/10, best summer movie yet, won the lottery, best comic-book movie ever, very good, terrible and abysmal lmao.

Fast and the Furious did HUMUMGO at the BO and was widely accepted. That same chick said "Sad to report, don't like F&F6" and " STID=bored."

Somebody just replied "Please not be Man of Steel, I want that movie to be good for the fanbase's sake.."
