The Amazing Spider-Man TMZ Video of Spider-man in action doing a flip

Hell YEAH! Practical effects. less cgi more people doing stunts. im digging this already

Interesting...The flip looks silly. But, it's during filming and it's from an amateur camera so, I can't judge yet.

Looks like he has tiny eyes.

the flip is bad ass, are you serious? lol

Awesome.

The eyes are looking magnificent gotta say.

Mask looks good from what I could see.

Nice little flip, costume looks really vibrant in those photos.

Nice little flip there, good to see practical stunts rather than the cartoon we kept getting lol

spiderman 1 didnt have a lot of practical stunts?

lets see how much stunts they do if this movie make a lot of money.

The tiny eyes really make me think of the Spiderman web of shadows version
That's actually a good thing to me

Take a look in some of the other threads. One of them has a clearer picture of the mask, and you can see that the eyes are in fact quite large.

They seem to be doing a bunch of close angle shots of physical stunts but those who think CGI won't be used as much to the extent of Raimi films might want to know they are in 2011. Where CGI/practical effect mixture is king.

I think we'll see various fights throughout the film that will utilize this method. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. The Lizard is a completely new enemy. Visually it was always going to look different regardless of the costume changing or staying the same as it was, more of a game of cat and mouse game this go around or maybe I should say spider and lizard?

See, this is where I'll go as far as to say WHAT THE **** ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ! ! ! ? It looks freaken badass, and guess what! NO ******** cheap CG trick!!! We should all raise a freaken flag over it! This is a great sign! Real people, real stunts. You reaaally need to stop your complaining right now... No seriously, like RIGHT_NOW!

This is looking so badass!

^^ CGI is needed for a lot of things in the Spider-Man films though. Do people actually think Spidey web-swinging should be real? If it was, then it would look silly. That flip didn't need to be CGI, but if SPidey web-swings, he has to be or else it'll look poor and boring as hell.

Ahh, Naite, I missed your poetic potty mouth.

I don't think anyone is expecting there to be NO CGI but its a good thing to see that little things like these will be practical. I'm sorry but there were moments in the Raimi movies where there was no need for CGI.

web swinging etc CGI is a must

Wow, read my post again. I said I can't judge until I see the finished product. Alot of action scenes and stunts look silly when they're being shot. It kind of looks like a guy in a Spider-Man costume riding in a truck and his friend put it on Youtube.
I can't say it looks "badass" at all because it doesn't.

And you have to be kidding, you do know that the previous 3 had stunts too, right? And you better believe there will be a CGI Spider-Man in this film.
Hell, the stuff in SM2 with Spidey riding on the robber's car was all practical too.

Nobody is expecting spidey to actually swing practically without it being CGI, it's just not plausible. People are celebrating because there are good-looking practical stunts being incorporated, which is better, more credible and authentic as opposed to the likes of a cg spidey jumping onto a cot damn window ledge (spider-man 2, I'm looking at you!).

The Bond movies were famous for all the practical stunts they did. The freefall jump in TSWLM, GE's bungie jump, the parkour/madagasca chase in CR etc etc. Spidey is deserving of some serious actual stunt work also, more so than any other movie...let's see this movie exhibit parkour, mind blowing acrobatics. CG should only be used when really needed and to sex up certain action scenes.

I wholeheartedly agree with this stunt work has improved even since the first Spider-Man film, and I hope that this movie takes full advantage of that. I'm hoping for Parkour free running and acrobatics. All I'm asking for is this movie to be a little grounded in some believability. The more amazing practical stunts as opposed to cgi (unless it's good cgi) the better. And so far I am encouraged after seeing Spidey do a flip onto a moving vehicle as a practical stunt.:woot:

Damn good flip!,Should look even much better of course in the movie with music score/rest of the scene together and whatever else.

The suit to me looks even more awesome in motion&far away!BTW.....did anyone see a belt on him or is it just me??,Great sample of the mask and I was hoping the eyes would be smaller.
