I was surprised that there was no thread for this. I just watched it and it's such a sweet movie.

Noah & Lana's romance is so cute. It genuinely touched my heart. The movie was funny, heartfelt, sincere & delightful. I'm just floored atm. You guys should check it out.

I watched it too and it’s so sweet. I expect great things from the director in the future and Lana should be a massive star!

Don't usually go for movies like this but as far as movies my wifey and I can both enjoy, this is one of the better recent ones.

The company also singled out “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” as one of its “most viewed original films ever with strong repeat viewing.” Netflix never shares any actual viewing metrics for single titles, but the company gave us another indicator for the success of “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” in the form of Instagram data Tuesday. Co-stars Lana Condor and Noah Centineo both saw their follower numbers explode after the film debuted on the service.

Centineo’s Instagram fan base grew from 0.8 million to 13.4 million followers, while Condor’s follower numbers grew from 0.1 million to 5.5 million.

But seriously tho, what made you hate the movie?? I mean I don't think there was anything in the movie that can invoke such a strong negative reaction. So, what gives??
lol. I was expecting something cute and I could not get past how one dimensional everything was. There was zero substance. I did like the lead actress, I'd definitely watch her in something else. Otherwise hard pass. Everyone behaved stupidly in this because the plot demanded it.

I thought Lara Jean was far too severe on Peter and went overboard with her doubt when Gen manipulated her at the skiing trip. That felt a little too convenient but other than that I didn't see any glaring stupidity from the characters.

This was one of my faves from 2018. I thought the movie was very cute and sweet. A bit too mushy maybe, but it's heart was in the right place.
