Did anyone catch Kevin Arnold's cameo in the movie as Dave Thomas from the Wonder Years?

It has to do with the fact that GM offered their cars free of charge, which essentially gave them 3 million bucks. What company would turn down this offer? I don't like GMC cars very much, but I realized that they want to save money so they have every Autobot become a GMC vehicle.

the only thing that bothered me is bumblebee changing into the 2008 version...didnt need to change in my opinion... or at least have bumblebee get really damaged and then ratchet has to fix him up and upgraded him or sumthing...the way they did it in the movie WAS pretty gay

besides, am i the only one that thinks the 1974 version of the camaro looks way cooler?

First off *******! Who the hell said I was hating the movie you moron? Can you even read? I was just saying it was sort of bogos how GM had to do product placement. As always we have morons like you on these forums ruining people's posts. Thanks for showing me you cared enough to read my post and to reply Again though where in the sam hell did I say I hated the movie. I read somewhere though that the director had used GM in other movies and had a relationship with them, reason he said he used GM vehicles. Other then that flawless movie.

I totally agree, the new Camaro is ugly. Hell that isn't even what the production Camaro will look like anyway, just a concept and production cars never look just like the concept. Micheal Bay can direct a great movie but the GM product placement was just greedy.

Ok god, I know. I loved Barricade, I bought a toy of him the day I seen it just because the figure rocks. I drive an 05 Mustang GT so it sort of got me in the spirit, even though he was a Saleen S281 Mustang.

You just lost your Credibility there "Mr. Credible". Anyway. The movie was a huge ad campaign for GM and their autos. One of the reasons the movie sucked so hard. It was a fun action movie but I will not accept it as a Transformers movie at all.

He said aside from forcing a company's product down the throat of viewers (which as a former business student, was an obvious marketing ploy) the movie was flawless. I don't feel the movie was worth the crap on my boot, but I agree with him as far as marketing goes.

This movie was so ****ing dope! I'm waiting for part 2 - when starscream flys back with more decepticons, and more autobots show up to hang out with Prime.

I think some people are just like this - happens with all movies - there are always people who spend too much time on the parts of the film that do not need that much time spent on them. Instead of enjoying what they were given, they LOOK for something to complain about.

"why are they all GM cars?" - because it's a ****ing movie. That's why.

Next thing you know, he'll start complaining about ... "Why are they all robots?"

But there's a level where commercialization can start to compromise the story or the tradition the story is based on.

All I know is that it would have been nice to stand up and cheer when a vehicle that was instantly recognizable as a G1 original pulled up with the Autobots. It didn't ruin the movie for me, but I view it as an opportunity missed.
