Photoshop, Final Cut Pro etc.

Although I know you can get these programmes for PC, they just seem better on the Mac.

I've been a member here for almost 5 years and this is the first I hear of this website.

Most people haven't. I have his AIM thingy, just in case I ever needed him because its nearly impossible to get him anywhere now, or at least I did before AIM erased my buddy list.

Don't put words in my mouth, young man. The best system is the one that suits your particular needs the best, to be honest. There are certainly legitimate uses for a PC just as there are for a Mac. In a business setting, proprietary software or support contracts may necessitate one platform or the other. For the average consumer, though, it's really just a matter of personal preference rather than necessity. My perspective is that overall, a Mac system or a PC running a Linux variant offers the best bet in terms of reliabilty, stability and freedom from viruses and spyware. I just find the user experience on a Mac more satisfying than on a Linux box.

I know where this question came from on Catman's part. I'll have to go dig up the reasons I listed for him in that other thread and post them here.
