Maybe not animated Bane size, but these guys are pretty damn close.

Kane has the perfect comic-accurate Bane look. Legit 6'9, 290 pounds.

Gee, I could have sworn that the current turn to this discussion was a result of the suggestion that Hardy should wear a muscle suit because he's not big enough, and comments that would make you think Hardy's arms look like toothpicks.

People have been whining about how he'll never be the size of comic book Bane, comparing him to a midget, etc., ever since he was cast. And since comic book Bane is probably about the size that you just described, yes, it does exist.

Thank you.

I'd much rather see an amazing actor that is half the size of the comic book counterpart than a ****** actor that is full size of the comic book counterpart... but that's just me.

Batman & Robin is an example of that, Carnotaur3.

Keaton probably didn't look like a Bruce Wayne but damn he sure proved everyone wrong. What a surprise that was. Actually I wouldn't know.... I was only 18 months old when the movie came out.

Tom Hardy is a fantastic actor and his size is more than fine for a live-action Bane in the Nolanverse.

I respect the the hardcore comic-book fans but I can't relate to them.

Tom Hardy isn't a WWE superstar, bodybuilder or an MMA fighter.

It took Alistair Overeem two years to develop his frame and size (packed on 55 lbs of muscle)

Yea but he's a **** actor.

This single sentence should be enough to end all discussion.

The Bane we are getting here is No B&R Bane (so wrestlers need not have applied), TDKR's Bane is going to need and actual, competant actor to portray him effectively.

Exactly... BAM! End of discussion.

 I don't think anyone is seriously suggesting any WWE superstars, MMA fighters or body builders should replace Tom Hardy. It's just good fun.

Do people seriously think Hardy is not muscular enough? Look at that ****ing back, it goes on forever!

Can't they just use cgi to make him look a little bigger when he's juiced kinda like how they used cgi to make Anthony Hopkins look younger for that scene in "Hannibal"

They don't need to make him bigger via CGI. What would the point be of him packing on the muscle if they are just gonna CGI him anyway?

If I was Hardy, and I just busted my gut for three months to put on like 40 pounds of muscle... then they told me they were CGIing my body anyway... I'd go mental.

And so was your snide remark

It's no different than the cgi he used for two-face

Morningstar it would just be quick and not crazy looking maybe a few veins pop and his muscles tighten

The suggestion was that for scenes where he is under the influence of Venom, they use CGI to inflate his muscles to show the effects.

Again, it's not necessary.

Two-Face was. He's big already; people on roids don't look like Bane.

I think we'll be able to tell that he's on Venom without CGI to show us his muscles growing.

you're suggestion is in no way crazy but; it's it's an unnecessary aesthetic detail; that could work but, Hardy is big enough as it is to be imposing.

It may happen for all we know.

Well yea, that could maybe work. Maybe show his veins pulsating or something. I don't think they'll actually "hulk out" Bane though.

I'm not even talking about inflating his muscles
