Guys, you're taking this audio clip out of context. Where is Bane? In a sports arena. To me it's seems like he's mocking the way "sport announcers" speak. You remember that song, "Geeeet reaaady too ruuumbleeeee". Seems about the same tone he is using - to me!

I don't know what to think anymore. Bane smaller than Batman and with no muscle definition and talking like a prissy old British man, and Catwoman wearing sunglasses.

I really hope that's not her full "costume", and that Bane sounds different in the finished film, but that's nothing like how Hardy naturally talks, so it's obviously a voice he deliberately chose...for whatever reason. It's a long way from intimidating or menacing.

Same here, I like both, but I tend to laugh a bit more with Colbert, although, satire isn't my specialty.

If it turns out that Bane sounds NOTHING like what we hear in the video, if Catwoman looks like she stepped right out of a Hush comic book panel then HOO-freaking-RAY. I'll do cartwheels down my block I'll be so happy.

But right now? In this moment of time? Blech.

Taking things out of context is so thoughtless and so easy. I assume your referring to my post. But your really generalizing what I said. I'm not gonna bother re hashing my whole post just to satiate. On an ironic note, I too hate the idea of talia and the Los even being in this. But I'm not going to overreact and say that it's terrible because o have no clue how its fitting in with the context of the film..so while I can say I'm not ecstatic about it, I can't flat out say her inclusion is terrible since I gave no idea how it'll play out.

That's actually happening in this thread.

Actually, I have to disagree and say a majority of people are *****ing and fewer people are coming in to argue it. The "hive mind" in this situation truly appears to be those that are pessimistic to varying degrees about things. Only now are more coming in to defend and reasonably argue this view.

No. No, he didn't. I was on the set today and it was a blast. Bane's appearance was cool to see and he did a few takes of the audio that has been posted. I thought Bane sounded fine live. I'm sure it will be modified in Post as part of his conversation was "hidden" from us. Some of you flame just to flame.

It's "reverse-fanboyism". Years of fanboys being too nitpicky about their superhero flicks has lead to backlash: people being cool with anything a director decides to do with a superhero and related characters. He could make Batman pink and people would defend it.

How accurately would you say the audio reflects what you heard?

Totally left field from what myself and everyone else was expecting.

It's extremely weird, It makes me even more eager to know how Hardy and Nolan came up with this interpretation.

Nolan fans would justify it by saying "he wore a pink suit in da comics~!!!" just like they're justifying a Catwoman without a cowl or cat ears.
