Has it been confirmed that Bane's goons are members of league of shadows?

Agreed!
That was one of my favorite moments in (aside from he has with Bruce when his drive home made the news.)

And, I just watched the Tangerine Knight video, and it was quite amusing.

When I watched the actual scene in Dark Knight on TV the other day, I couldn't stop thinking about it.

If the only confirmation you're looking for comes from the studio making the film, then no, they have not confirmed it.

Bane's goons (such as Josh Stewart) have been seen with both Bane and Miranda Tate at various times. In one scene, Josh Stewart and others are protecting her at Gotham City Hall and escorting her out of it to the camo Tumbler. In another scene, Josh Stewart takes Miranda Tate hostage. I think people can work out what is going on. Gary Oldman and Wally Pfister have said TDKR works off of Batman Begins--where the League of Shadows played a significant role. Ra's al Ghul, their leader, is returning in what are surmised as flashback scenes with Josh Pence and Liam Neeson.

On a rather random note,do you think JGL has given Hardy any tips on working with a mask...?

Thanks for clarifying. If it turns out they’re League of Shadows I do wonder where they left their ninja swords :cwink:

Bane is about to kill Batman... Alfred sneaks up behind him, hits him in the head and takes off his mask. Bane dies! :hehe:

And Bruce Wayne learns something about himself, he can't live without his kickass butler. :woot:

They can be lots of things. :oldrazz:

Some of them may be out of this:

A Bedfordshire scrap metal company has played an unexpected role in the production of the latest Batman film.

Simply Recycling Solutions in Bedford provided props for a scene involving a Siberian prisoner of war camp.

Guessing that location involves either Bane or Bruce Wayne.

He's not disliking the way Hardy is portraying the character, from what I know.

He's disliking Hardy's choice of voice.

Which is fine, because Hardy's mouth is behind a concealing mask, and they can always discuss the voice later on after the main bulk of shooting is done, and ADR it in afterwards in post.

Like I said before, I'm sure Heath came up with some really dumb stuff before he finally settled on the right voice for Joker.

I hope this is true, because that voice almost seems obviously corrupt. Maybe by Nolan's hands due to the large amount of extras at the field, who knows? It only makes sense that the day he decided on the mask was the day he new how important the voice would be. Im sure just like Ledger's Joker, Hardy's Bane will have a voice agreed upon before contracts are signed.

I could be wrong, but Im still cautiously optimistic that we will have an AMAZING Bane voice, and it wont be some wheezing old wind bag.

Maybe the howls of mirth during a test screening or two will come to our rescue.

Seriously.

I don't care how deep they make it in post, or what effects are added to it.

His delivery of those lines will be the same, his tone will be the same, his speech patterns will be the same.

Ridiculous Bane voice is ridiculous.

I can definitely see where you guys are coming from. I was personally expecting the more brave and pragmatic choice which would have been a vague South American accent. Sure it would of been difficult but isn't that what actors strive for? Challenges in a performance and whatnot. Oh well.

It would have been nice and it's somewhat disappointing they didn't go that route but the accent he's been using has definitely warmed up to me.

It's a unique, distinct voice, doesn't sound like anybody else's in the other films, anyway. Can't wait to hear it in a trailer or some other produced material to gauge it properly. I've never had the "ideal" Bane voice in my head (whatever that is supposed to be, anyway, regular Spanish accent), so it's not bugging me much at all. If I can get over the fact Cotillard isn't part Asian, I can cut a little slack here too. A little bit.

with Hardy? hell no. in 5 months he would learn it.

i am hoping for the best. this is afterall Bane.

bane's voice to me was always Javier Bardem in No Country For Old Men

Ninja's are mainly mercenaries and adapt and blend into their surroundings to suit their purpose. Doesn't mean it is compulsory for them to always carry a ninja sword and be suited in ninja garb. :oldrazz:

Yeah, I don't envision Bane as a tall, physically intimidating, stone cold Spaniard, either.
