IESB cornered Tom Rothman on the red carpet and asked about all upcoming Fox things in a video. He was asked if there would be another XMen - it's about about three minutes in ("Wolverine" is after that).

It can't be copied and pasted - it's a video interview. It didn't work for me on IE but it worked on Firefox (although it kept stopping and going). You'll just have to keep trying.

Basically he mentioned Halle at the People's Choice Awards telling everyone to write to him and he made a joke about the mailman going out on disability because of all the mail. He's answer pretty much was "we'll see."

That interview looks promising but its nothing really. Unless they are working behind the scenes.

If Zack Snyder cant do Wolverine I hope he can do X-Men 4 or whatever it will be called,in a few years. His 300 looks amazing and I think he could handle X-Men well. He was approached for X3 but he had 300 to do.

I think it's pretty much a given that we're gonna get X4 in a few years. It just remains to be seen what direction they're gonna go with it. I just hope they avoid re-casting the principal actors(Halle, Ashmore, Paquin, Stanford, Page[particularly after X3!] etc.) as that'll ruin any continuity.

I think Sinister is the way to go and maybe include Sentinels. Bring Cyclops back, have Storm as headmistress and introduce Gambit, then take it from there.

I just hope Storm and Wolvie aren't in it if it's ever made. As much as I like Wolverine, we need new faces. A new villain would be nice too even though Magneto was great.

Storm will most likely be in it. I have my doubts about Logan.

I'd like Logan will be in it, he should, but in a shorter role. They can do that. And if Logan won't appear, a X4 with the rest of the team, more Gambit and Emma as the main new characters can easily be a really great sequel. And if they introduce the Sentinels, still more. In fact, that's the way they should take. They already have Trask, so the sentinels are the next step. Sinister could be in it too, but not sure.... Emma and Sinister appearing in the same film?.... more Gambit? too many big characters together, in my opinion.

Maybe, Storm is more of a principal character than Nightcrawler was though. I do think Storm could be more developped and have more to give whereas we've pretty much seen all of Wolverine.

It'll be interesting to see what happens anyway. I'd like a new director as well, Ratner was alright for X3 as he did a good job, imo, of finishing what Singer started but for X4 it's presumably gonna be the start of the next trilogy so charatcer development of the newer players - Gambit/Frost/Sinister and careful set up of the story is important.
