While I can't wait for this movie, Favreau in the perfect guy to direct it, does anybody else think that the larger movie viewing audience will perceive this as a Bond rip-off? I mean we are talking about 2 guys who like to drink hard and screw lot of chicks. Not mention the fact that there is another Bond movie coming out at the same time.

With Favs saying the tone of the IM film will be like a Tom Clancy thriller, and that the drinking issues wouldn't be approached until the sequel, I don't think we'll have to worry about Bond comparisons. Favs doesn't seem to be taking it that route.

Wow, a guy...who likes to drink hard and screw a lot of chicks. Won't find that outside Bond.

Is Bond a famous billionaire?
Does Bond have an armored suit that can fly and shoot beams of energy?
Does Bond need a suit of armor to keep himself alive?

Iron Man's about as much like James Bond as Batman is. That is to say, they have very little in common.

If neither film moves both films will be seriously hurting. I bet that Iron Man will move on account that Bond is a well established film franchise while I beleive that it would be more beneficial to Bond if it were the one to move.

If you really need one major, huge, huge plot difference between Bond and Iron Man to seperate the two so people don't get all "confused".... I think the fact that shellhead goes around wearing a certain red and gold armor does the trick. :oldrazz: ;)
