Anyone else worried about the HUGE number of heroes rumoured in Infinity war.We have Avengers,Guardians,Defenders,NEW avengers all rumoured to be in this movie.Isnt that too much

Nope, not at all. This shouldn't even be a complaint considering they're pretty much just following the comics....when Thanos is brought out there's typically a legion of heroes facing him. Nothing new there or anything to be worried about.

If these characters don't die by Infinity War I expect to see these characters as locks in some form in at least one of the two movies.

Iron Man
Captain America
Thor
Hawkeye
Black Widow
Incredible Hulk
Giant Man
Wasp
Spider-Man
Black Panther
The Winter Solider
Falcon
War Machine
Captain Marvel
Scarlet Witch
The Vision
Doctor Strange
Star-Lord
Groot
Rocket
Gamora
Nova Corp
Shield
New Members of the Guardians
Nick Fury
Maria Hill
Lady Sif
Agent 13
Drax

There needs to be a contingent of characters serving Thanos as well though. Personally I don't think Thanos will achieve getting all the stones until part two. So the first film is him dealing with that while also causing destruction and death along the way. Having certain heroes challenge Thanos and fail along the way.

WB have you ever read the Infinity Gauntlet or Wars or Crusade. They're supposed to be full of heroes and characters

AoU was one of the best done ensemble films I've seen where everyone gets their spot in the sunshine. It was the antithesis of the X-men films where there's concentration on two or three characters and everyone else is window dressing.

So load up the sequel, I want all of them, bring in Guardians, bring in Ant-man and Wasp, Captain Marvel, Dr. Strange, Black Panther, I want them all in there.

Agreed

I thought AOU was stretched to the Limit with its heroes. It was still good but not as good as it good as it could have been as Critics have been saying.

This is why Im worried about Infinity war

I think AoU did very well with its huge character roster, to be honest. You've also got to remember that Infinity War will spread over two movies. That's plenty of room to breathe in.

I don't think they need to worry about "overcrowding", they haven't had any problems with it in the past.

Well, there IS a reason why Infinity War is two movies, and not one.

Also, if you go by the comics half the universe is wiped out pretty much right from the start. So all the heroes won't be involved. Although, even with that the Russo's proved in The Winter Soldier they can handle a large cast and make sure everyone has their chance to shine. Really the only character who seemed to get shortchanged in the movie was Agent 13 and I wouldn't even mention her if there weren't reports about her casting. Seems some people tried to make her out to be a bigger deal than she was ever intended to be, probably due to the actress being the star of Revenge.

So who are going to be the Heroes of Infinity War Part 1 since the Original Avengers won't come back till Part 2 of Infinity War?

This is the only two part film in the history of Marvel. They are obviously taking there time with this.

Yeah, personally I wouldn't have it any other way. Parts 1+ 2 were meant to be spread out.

Well comics and movies are different of course. While I agree that the IW movies will be full of characters, I don't expect significant screentime for some of them...

I'm just hoping for a lot of real deaths. Going up against Thanos if everyone comes out unscathed I'm probably going to turn in my MCU membership club card

i don't see how this won't be easily be the most expensive film ever made. My goodness, just the cast salaries alone...

I think ever since the Avengers Marvel has been saving up for Infinity War. The budget will well over a billion dollars. If they don't knock that out of the park...who am I kidding of course they will.

If you think there's too many hero's in the movie then don't watch it?

Marvel has stuck to the same formula which is why they have been so immensely successful.

The more the merrier.

Age of Ultron had a 225M budget, what makes you think Infinity Wars will be 4x that? Unless you're talking about both movies as a whole? Still, that'd have to be twice the budget each time.

Heh, yeah a billion is overboard.

Yep, I definately overshot that. Apologies. But with all the actors, I think the budget will be even higher than AoU, not to mention the amount of CGI they'll need to use. High quality CGI is VERY expensive.

It's a little too early to say Russos can handle a large cast, The Winter Soldier's cast wasn't that large. I feel Civil War will be a much better indicator of their quality.
