    Personally, I think it's way too soon for that character, I get it's an original storyline for the show, and they don't have to be cannon, but at the same time, there are still so many other paths they could take to help shape and mold the characters that end up becoming Batman's rogue gallery.

    No. Azrael is a mantle passed down through generations. Having Azrael is just fine. The rogues gallery is huge, so there are plenty of villains to show. Besides, this isn't Jean-Paul Valley.

    And this is just another take on the Batman and its' characters. Personally i'm happy for Azrael, maybe he becomes a bigger hit and the comics will once again try something with him.

    Azrael is one that makes sense for Gotham as he's already a generational character in the comics.
