Title says it all... Mine would be...

1) Pirates of Dark Water - extremely adaptable to film, monkey bird would also look amazing

2) Gargoyles - extremely adaptable as well, and has one of the best stories of a cartoon series

3) Mighty Max - could be an epic harrypotter/percy jackson type film

4) Thunder Cats - a no brainer

5) He-Man - see above

6) Power Puff Girls - could be a very fun and cute film

7) Pokemon - a pipe dream, but has alot of potential

8) Reboot - could work, but may lose it's charm in live action

9) Jem - could be fun

10) Tie: Where in the World is Carmen San Diego/ Captain Planet - carmen could be an interesting film, and captain planet would need some retooling but could work

* Danger Mouse - done in CGI with quasi-realistic anthropormorphic characters a la "Stuart Little", and written as a more clever sendup of the classic era of spy films of '60s (maybe even make it a period piece, or at least let the production design be influenced by it) than Austin Powers turned out to be. Oh, and Shirley Bassey has to sing a jazzed-up rendition of the "Danger Mouse" theme song.

* Big Guy & Rusty - live-action/CGI with the same voice actors for our heroes as in the cartoon, but everybody else can be recast.

* Space Ghost - live-action/CGI with the intent of restoring the more serious, classic version of the character; not necessarily a complete adaptation of the DC mini but definitely influenced by it.

* The Herculoids - inspired by the version that DC was planning to do a few years back, with Zandor and Tarra stranded on Quasar and not really liking each other at first...sort of an "'Enemy Mine' Meets Godzilla" type of story.

* Thundarr The Barbarian - if you could figure out a way to do it without the Sunsword and Ookla looking like the guy's running around with a lightsaber and a Wookiee just asking for an infringement lawsuit from Lucasfilm.

* Batman Beyond - with a few elements of TDKR and maybe KC mixed in. This'd be a great way to do something new with the film aspect of the Batman franchise, IMO.

* Freakazoid! - not bloody likely given how quickly the show was killed off, I admit, but what the hey.

* Thundercats - just 'cuz that artwork of Lion-O that's been floating around the 'net just looks awesome - plus it'd be a great way to get new Thundercats toys back on store shelves. But I digress.

* ...I can't think of two more.

I recall the swarms of fans thinking that Beyond was going to be a film, in the time before Begins came along.

begins would indeed be great, and i woulda put that on there if it wasn't for the fact the nolan franchise has been doing good... i dont see them doing beyond until later

Gargoyles - imagery would be epic
Thundercats - a bit of a no brainer
Voltron - should be a no brainer, but somehow isn't
Rainbow Brite - for da kids (yeah, I said it)
Johnny Quest - Think Percy Jackson meets Indian Jones... or Harry Potter meets Tomb Raider.
Static Shock - Would make me very, VERY happy
Galactik Football - the only one on this list from the 2000s, it's an English Language Cartoon from France, and it makes me very happy
Silverhawks - You remember them too?
Captain Planet - Just for the VFX, but the interactions of the team could be interesting too. (could be awesome!)
and yes, I too could go for some Where on Earth is Carmen San Diego. If only they could get rid of the 'Spy Kids' acting style for real life adolescents.

With the motion capture that was used on Avatar, Goliath in Gargoyles could be (imho) fully achieved now.

i forgot about johnny quest... id love for it to happen. but i thought it was already in the works... was it shelved or something? i was pretty sure zac effron got the role

Star Blazers

Voltron

C.O.P.S.

Gargoyles-Probably in my view most adaptable cartoon not made into a live action film by now. Which surprises me since Disney loves using old shows and movies until become unfun.

Inuyasha- I think this is easily adaptable as Avatar really for they can easily set it in early Japan and would be stunning beautiful and amazing with demons and the violence that is Inuyasha.

Yughio- By far the coolest idea ever and it could be very low budget and i think Egyptian would go over well since Greek is the it thing these days.

Prince Valiant- Another cartoon / comic that never got a live action chance. Valiant would be cool if you like the whole Camelot mythology.

He-Man- If Thor and Super-Man get new movies He-Man should get one for it has elements to make it epic like Star Wars. As long as they don't give Adam Purple legs and a pink vest.

Purist version of Transformers G1
Purist version of GI Joe
Thundercats
Bravestar
Bionic Six
Defenders of the Earth
C.O.P.S.
He-man
and that toon where people ride giant bugs

There actually was a live-action version...at least I think so. I saw one on tv late at night a few years ago.http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119947/

My picks would be:
Pokemon: Like someone else said, this would be a pipe dream but I'd love to see what could be done. I don't think it's the most terrible idea in the world

Digimon: I loved Digimon just as much as Pokemon when I was younger. There's just something about it that makes it a lot more capable of being a live-action movie than Pokemon.

Teen Titans: I'm not sure how many of you like the show or not, but I really liked the anime-type style it had to it. Plus, I'd like to see a live-action Robin that's an actual badass.

Death Note: I've already seen the 2 live-action versions from Japan and if done correctly, there could be a good American version. Granted, it would stray away from the anime vastly but it would be cool to see this with the same amount of drama and suspense coupled with good CGI

Viewtiful Joe: Yes it was a video game and there was a short-lived cartoon but I loved the idea of being pulled into movie and becoming a superhero. I could see this being done Speed Racer-style

Power Rangers: I know it's not a cartoon and there has already been 2 live-action films but I'd like to see a somewhat darker version, much like Super Sentai, the Japanese counterpart of Power Rangers

Ben 10: If not for seeing the 2 live-action made-for-tv films, I wouldn't have been able to envision this as big budget film. Just give it more depth and better CGI and it could be a decent blockbuster-type film.

Batman Beyond: I'll admit it wasn't a big fan of the cartoon, mainly because I loved the classic Batman but as a live-action film, I think this would be a good idea to break away from the traditional vision of Batman.

Justice League: it just NEEDS to happen. What more do I have to say?

Legend of Zelda: I can honestly see this stand alone as a live-action film. It would be probably made "darker" to stray away from the cheesiness of the video games. I just like epic adventure type movies and live-action LoZ movie would be just that: an epic adventure.

He-Man- If Thor and Super-Man get new movies He-Man should get one for it has elements to make it epic like Star Wars. As long as they don't give Adam Purple legs and a pink vest.

There was a Prince Valiant movie back in 1954.

Lots of good choices I would like to add "The Herculoids", "Samson and Goliath", and "Mighty Mightor", for consideration.

Thundercats and Gargoyles. That's it.

wait....also Gummy Bears.

1. He-Man. No brainier there. If these guys need a source on how to write a world that's both full of technology and fantasy they can read the Shannara by Brooks series for ideas.
2. Thundercats.
3. Silverhawks. Partly metal, partly real, and totally kick-ass. I loved this cartoon so much that my dog I had my whole childhood was named Tally.
4. Jayce And The Wheeled Warriors. Not may people know this one but it's got it all, space, crazy tech, awesome vehicles and one of the better villains ever, Sawboss!
5. Galaxy Rangers. What's not to love? Cowboys, space, high technology and powers.

1. C.O.P.S

2. Bucky O' Hare

3. Biker Mice From Mars

4. Thundercats

5.Gargoyles

6. M.A.S.K

7. Masters Of The Universe

8. The Tick

9. Mighty Max

10. Ren & Stimpy

You need to check out RPM, the final PR season. It's actually the first kids' show with a post-apocalyptic setting with a really interesting storyline. It's not all dark and moody, and it's pretty fun and fast-paced for most of the time. It's very unlike its campy Carranger-throwback counterpart, Engine Sentai Go-Onger.

I think a film spinoff of that series would work well. Especially since now post-apocalyptic movies (The Road, 28 Days Later, Book of Eli) are all the rage now.

All these choices and no one said The Jetsons.

Wow! It's great to see people listing shows from the 80s and early 90s.

Thundarr The Barbarian: Post-apocalyptic sword and sorcery, technology. Awesome!
Visionaries: Post-apocalyptic sword and sorcery, technology. The illusions would be awesome to see on the big screen.
Voltron: Giant robot fighting bad guys. Looks like an easy money maker.
Thundercats: No brainer.
Blackstar: I would go with this over He-Man. John Blackstar was what He-Man was based off of, and is lesser known so it wouldn't have the negative stigma of He-Man.
Robotech: Done as a gritty war movie by Stephen Spielberg would be amazing to see.
Galaxy Rangers: Man, this would rock. Spaceships, cyborg cowboy lawmen (and one woman), it's got it all.
Belle and Sebastian: A cute story.
Mysterious Cities of Gold: Great adventure story.
Lensman: The grandfather of all space operas.

Gargoyles would be epic :wow:

Cowboy Bebop
Gundam
Dragon Ball :yay:
Ed Edd n Eddy
The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy

1.Thundercats
2.Mazinger Z
3.Pokemon
4.Digimon
5.Voltron
6.Gargoyles
7.Ben 10
8.Ben 10 alien force :-)oldrazz:)
9.He-man
10. A better version of Dragonball

1. Captain Planet
2. Sailor Moon (I think it would be really interesting and different and hopefully give fangirls something else to fawn over other than Twilight)
3. Street Sharks
4. Death Note
5. Nausicaa and the valley of the wind
6. Danny Phantom
7. Masupilami (I just want to see Maurice lol)
8. Futurama
9. The Wild Thornberrys.
10. Afro Samurai
