you're right about cheating.

I can kinda see Adaptation as a dark comedy..kinda, but Almost Famous? I mean, it had humor but it's not comedic. The samething with Sideways.

looking back, it's amazing how Judd Apatow really changed the face of comedy in the 2000s since 90% of the lists here are all almost Apatow-centric.

I would almost have to agree with all those movies there. Not in that order though really. Didn't care much for Wedding Crashers, but take out that and put in Knocked Up and that's a great list.

I will be honest. I used to really like Knocked Up, but the more I watch it the more I start to hate it. Katherine Heigl is terrible comedic actress, and Leslie Mann was really annoying in the film. They were more caricatures of women than actual characters. I like Apatow, but he doesn't know how to write women in his movies.

And other than the top 3 on my list everything else can switch on any given day.
