It's early in the year, but let our list start growing now. Let's make this most interesting by adding what YOU think will be on your top ten list by the end of the year.

So Far...

1.My Bloody Valentine
2.Friday The 13th
3.Taken
4.He's Just Not That Into You

What I think it may be on my list

X-Men: Wolverine Origins
Inglorious Basterds

:pal:

My top 10? God. You do realize that January and February are dumping grounds for lame flicks, right? I realize now that My Bloody Valentine 3-D was the best, and that just makes me very... very depressed.

damn this is a premature thread! :hehe:

Expected to look like this:

1. Watchmen
2. Public Enemies
3. Crank 2
4. The Surrogates
5. Inglourious Basterds

Everything else might not turn out so good.

So far there is only Benjamin Button on my list but it is very much likely to include;

Harry Potter and the Half-blood prince
Transformers 2
Terminator Salvation
Wolverine
Star Trek
Watchmen

Maybe Gran Torino, Franklyn, Knowing, The Box, Avatar will make it too..

Well, so far I've only seen Hulk Vs. and Futurama: Into the Wild Green Yonder.

Do you people honestly think Harry Potter, Transformers, Terminator, Wolverine, Dragonball, Star Trek, etc. will be some of the 10 best films of the year?

I really don't.

Never seen any of the Potter movies. Will not see this one.
Transformers 2 I can see easily being really good mindless popcorn fun. Just like the first one.
Terminator could be good. Though, I'm not interested in it at all.
Wolverine is most likely going to suck.
Dragonball too. Never liked the anime tho, but the movie looks just like your good ole Fox ****.
Star Trek could be good. Never been a huge Trekkie, but I'll see it anyway.

Dont get me wrong, I think Potter, Transformers, Terminator, and Star Trek will be fun. Wolverine will be alittle below average I think, while Dragonball will be bad.

I think this thread is more of a "Your 10 favourite films of the year" rather than the best films of the year.

in most cases, the best films of the year are the movies released in the fall and had no prior hype.

Um,

1. Coraline
2. Watchmen

Though I doubt that either will be in my top ten by the end of the year, maybe Coraline.

so far its
1. Watchmen

Avatar, *****.

Cameron is gonna come at you in December, and you will literally forsake all other movies, period. The mere glimpse of a movie other than Avatar will cause your eye sockets to bleed.

I don't get why people are going nuts for this film. Will someone explain what so much hype is being built for this.
