So, I got a DS for Christmas and I was wondering what y'all would suggest for games to purchase. My wife already had one, and our games so far as follows are: Tetris, Mystery Case Files MillionHeir, Mario 64 DS, Brain Age 2, and The World Ends With You (awesome game). What would you suggest as your top 5 games to go out and get?

Zelda: Phantom Hourglass - It's Zelda, it's always good

Mario Kart DS - Again, its always good

Animal Crossing - if you've never played the Gamecube version, I think its good cuz you and your wife can both have your own characters

Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time - great RPG

New Super Mario Bros - It's oldschool Mario in a 3D world.

I would also suggest Pokemon Diamond/Pearl but I dont know if youre into that (but I would say its a better RPG than Mario & Luigi). Also Chrono Trigger apparently just came out. I havent played it yet but Im planning too.

Yoshi's Island DS- Definitely get it if you liked Yoshi's Island on SNES

Super Mario DS- Excellent port. You get to play as Luigi, Yoshi, and Wario as well. Some parts can be challenging with the D-pad.

Kirby Squeak Squad- I love Kirby games and this is one of my favorites

Star Fox Command- Get it if you like Star Fox. It's similar to 64 but different.

Meteos- A really fun puzzle game. Look into it.

Warioware Touched- One of the best games in the series

Mario Kart DS--
Gameplay has high replayability and tons of depth.

Metroid Prime: Hunters--
Lengthy single player and endlessly addictive multiplayer deathmatches.

Dragonball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2--
Fast gameplay and easy to pick up and play. Very stylized and really recreates the DBZ experience.

Guitar Hero DS--
Highly underrated. Addictive and fun. It's awesome to take GH wherever.

Super Mario 64 DS--
Classic Mario gameplay in huge 3D environments. A perfect port/improvement of a classic game.
