In your opinion what 5 episodes are the best of the series thus far? 40 episodes in. By best you must take to an account: Acting, Directing, Writing, Production value etc.
1. ''Blackwater'' - Season 2
2. ''Fire and Blood'' - Season 1
3. ''A Golden Crown'' - Season 1
4. ''The Children'' - Season 4
5. ''Baelor'' - Season 1
It was hard not to include ''The Rains of Castamere'' but the fact was that that episode was all the last 15 minutes. For me Best episode must have amazing scenes all over it. Thus my list.
Watchers on the Wall
Baelor
Blackwater
The Mountain and the Viper
The Rains of Castamere
id like to add the pilot too... just because when i watched it I was very excited for the white walkers, etc... then was like WHAT THE **** and had to keep watching after Jamie tried to fly a Bran.
I'm only 29 episodes in, but this is still a hard question to answer. I'll give it a shot, though:
Winter is Coming
Cripples, Bastards, and Broken Things
The Ghost of Harrenhal
Blackwater
The Rains of Castamere
1. ''Blackwater'' - Season 2
2. ''Fire and Blood'' - Season 1
3. ''A Golden Crown'' - Season 1
4. ''Mother's Mercy'' - Season 5
5. ''The Children'' - Season 4
Its an abstract kind of feel. Looking at this season as an adaption of A Dance with Dragons - its abysmal. An absolutely abysmal season. If I look at it as something totally divorced from the books, as I tend to do with adaptions, it's been a solid B. Next season's looking like our adaption of A Feast for Crows...mostly.
Roose - imagine what D and D would do with The First Law.
By the dead, I'll cut a bloody cross in them. And I'll hang them. And I'll burn them. And I'll make such an end of them that the very song of it will turn the bards white.
