Hulk and Betty in the cave
I rewatched The Incredible Hulk recently for some reason, and I remembered this little gem of a scene where Hulk and Betty are hidden in a cave under the rain and he is trying to protect her from a storm. It is a great scene.

Avengers partying and hanging out in the tower
I've always liked this scene because we never got to see them not fighting villains and just being friends together in civilian clothes. We got a bit more in the farm scene too, but it is a ver comic-booky scene that I wish he had more of. It is probably my favorite and most rewatchable scene in the entire MCU.

"I'll put it on the list"
Winter Soldier is full of great character moments. This is a great introduction to Sam and also we learn a bit more about Steve adjusting to this new decade.

"Is not about you"
For some reason this scene stuck with me after my second viewing. I was so caught up with the special effects the first time I saw it that I didn't realize how powerful Tilda Swinton performance is in this.

Confronting Stark
Not only is a pivotal scene for the movie but it is very serious that sets a different tone within the MCU. It is a wonderful wake up call for Tony that we couldn't have without all the build up in previous films.

Do you agree?
Which one are yours?

1 and 3 are the only ones i'd say are underrated or overlooked.

The Doctor Strange scene may be in my top three scenes of all movies ever. And that Civil War scene is friggin rough.

It’s not terribly underrated but it is sort of buried under the Cap/Bucky vs. Iron Man fight in Civil War - Zemo and T’Challa’s one-on-one, with the former laying out his motivation and the latter seeing pass his own grief, choosing to be the better man and saving Zemo’s life so that he’ll answer for what he did.

I think Boseman and Brühl, in particular, play that moment excellently.

Oh, and the talk in the elevator in Ragnarok, just before “get help” when Thor tells Loki that he could be so much more than a trickster.

Underrated humor moment:

When Hulk yells "DON'T KICK STUFF!" at Thor during their argument in his quarters and then proceeds to throw stuff at him.

Thor's conversation with Rocket and Groot in Infinity War is a brilliant character moment with phenomenal acting from Hemsworth.

We go from humour that reminds us that life on Asgard was surreal and cosmic even to other aliens:
Infinity War said:
"You speak Groot?"
"Yes, they taught it on Asgard, it was an elective"

To hitting home just how mythical but tragic the last few years of Thor's life were in a way that (for all its awesome moments) Ragnarok never did:
Infinity War said:
"Well, (Loki's) been dead before. Though this time I think it really might be true."
"And you said your sister and your dad.......?"
"Both dead"
"But still got a mum though?"
"Killed by a Dark Elf."
"A best friend?"
"Stabbed through the heart"

At this point Thor's visibly trying to hold it together, forcing the smile we're used to seeing alongside the tears we're not and we start to see just how far Thor's going to go in his quest for revenge
Infinity War said:
"You sure you're up to this particular murder mission?"
"Absolutely, rage, vengeance, anger, loss so dreadful, they're all tremendous motivators. They really clear the mind so I'm good to go"
"Yeah but I mean this Thanos we're talking about, he's the toughest there is."
"Well, he's never fought me."
"Yeah, he has"
"He's never fought me twice. And I'm getting a new hammer don't forget"
"Well, it better be some hammer"
"You know I'm 1500 years old, I've killed twice as many enemies as that. And every one of them would have rather killed me but none succeeded. I'm only alive because fate wants me alive. Thanos is the latest in a long line of bastards and he'll be the latest to feel my vengeance. Fate wills it so."
"Uh huh. And what if you're wrong?"
"Well then if I'm wrong, what more could I lose."

It's because of this scene that when you see Thor in the next (way more iconic) scene as a God desperately pushing his limits and tanking the full force of a star, you buy it:

I don't have five, but my top two;

Tony and Pepper's banter at the beginning of the Avengers movie puts a smile on my face every time. It's just amazingly fun. I don't even hate Coulson in that scene, even if I can't stand him in pretty much every other appearance.

I hear people constantly singing the praises of the highway shootout in Winter Soldier, but my favorite, easily, is the initial fight on the Lemurian Star, from Cap clearing the decks, to Widow securing the engine room, to Cap's fight with Batroc. I love that whole sequence, and can watch it over and over. I have no idea if it's under-rated, but I prefer it.

Yeah, what I like about that scene is that you can hear Pepper and Coulson talking in the background like they have a relationship where they know stuff about each other. I love those small details, the world building around this films is fascinating.

Agent Klein in The Winter Soldier. "I'm not going to launch those ships, Captain's orders"

Drax, in Avengers Infinity War "You're a dude, this is a man!"

Iron Man's armor shown deploying flaps and retro rockets firing in flight inn Iron Man through The Avengers

Falcon to Bucky as they are webbed to the floor in Civil War. "I hate you"

Detective Paxton running in to save Cassie in Ant-Man

I feel like a lot of Zemo's moments weren't given enough props.

Zemo was a very understated and cleverly written/performed character.

That moment at the end where he and Ross face each other:

Everett K. Ross: So how does it feel? To spend all that time, all that effort, and to see it fail so spectacularly?

Zemo: Did it?

If you look closely you see a smile spread across Zemo's face - brilliant.

I sincerely hope they bring Zemo back - in fact I thought Zemo a good character to pair up with Thanos, as they would understand each other perfectly.

Similarly Zemo has immense quiet menace. He's not a shouting or raving moustache twirling bad guy, but you can feel the depth of his hatred via Daniel Bruhl's wonderful performance.

Captain America: You're Sokovian. Is that what this is about?

Zemo: Sokovia was a failed state long before you blew it to hell. No. I'm here because I made a promise.

Captain America: You lost someone.

Zemo: I lost everyone. And so will you.

That last line, especially the way he emphasizes "everyone" is terrific.

That's a super-cool effect. Love it!

Falcon to Bucky as they are webbed to the floor in Civil War. "I hate you"

Those two need their own buddy-movie, stat! I liked their banter/bickering (and the shared smile of approval when Steve kissed Sharon).

Detective Paxton running in to save Cassie in Ant-Man

I like that the new husband was a nicer guy than the one I remember vaguely from the comics. He was kind of a two-dimensional jerk who served only to justify Scott disapproving of him (and wanting custody of Cassie), from what I recall, and it's cool that they made things less black and white for the movie adaptation.

Also from Ant-Man, both times that Luis goes off and relates a story, with the various other characters all speaking in his line, was hilarious. I love hearing Stan Lee saying, 'Crazy stupid fine!'

Matt's struggle with his faith truly makes for some compelling moments.

After the Snap in Infinity War, Thanos in the soul realm:

Young Gamora: Did you do it.
Thanos: Yes.
Gamora: What did it cost?
Thanos: Everything.

Favorite moment in the MCU.

Second favorite from Age of Ultron:

The Vision: Humans are odd. They think order and chaos are somehow opposites and try to control what won't be. But there is grace in their failings. I think you missed that.
Ultron: They're doomed!
The Vision: Yes... but a thing isn't beautiful because it lasts. It is a privilege to be among them.

I think Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is littered with underrated moments, mainly a lot of the scenes between Yondu and Rocket.

The looks they exchange with each other at the 0:20 second mark in this clip are perfect:

Yondu's grin and Rocket's skeptical grimace is GIF-worthy, and I can't find it anywhere online.

Along the same lines, some more serious underrated moments between the two would be their argument when they get to Ego's Planet where Yondu tells Rocket that he has him all figured out because they're one and the same and their goodbye scene:

As time passes, I find myself liking this take on Zemo more and more, even with the differences from the comics. I'd certainly be interested in seeing him lead a Thunderbolts movie.

The scene with Black Panther where he tries to commit suicide might be my favorite in the entire MCU.

The part in that scene where baby Groot puts the badge on his head like a hat is one of the most adorable things I've ever seen. And the ensuing back and forth about Groot not liking hats is hilarious. :funny:

Marvel One-Shots: THE CONSULTANT is possibly the most pivotal moment in the MCU...

...If Ross hadn't refused to release Blonsky in that short, then neither Banner nor Stark would have ended up on the team which would instead have featured Abomination and maybe War Machine, who might not have survived past their initial confrontations with Loki and then Thor who is then successful in taking Loki back to Asgard before he can facilitate the Chitauri invasion...

...Coulson never goes through the Tahiti programme, his AoS team never comes to be, and HYDRA's takeover of SHIELD isn't thwarted...

...As a result HYDRA now controls the Avengers roster with Strucker himself maybe taking hold of the IRON PATRIOT armour...
ABOMINATION stays
WINTER SOLDIER is put in place of Captain America
SCARLET WITCH and QUICKSILVER are added to the team, and the likes of Rumlow and Batroc could be recruited and they or other recruits could be assigned tech like the WHIPLASH and YELLOWJACKET armours...

...Cap, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Falcon, Sharon Carter and Maria Hill remain fugitives (HYDRA took out Fury, Strange and others), as does Stark whilst Banner is still in hiding having never been recruited by Black Widow and Thor is on Earth but has had no involvement with the team since taking Loki back to Asgard, and Ant-Man and Wasp are active though with extra backing from HYDRA, Darren Cross wasn't defeated by Scott Lang and Hank Pym is dead...

...CIVIL WAR then takes a very different shape as CAPTAIN AMERICA's Secret Avengers take a beating from HYDRA's team and he teams up with IRON MAN, HULK, THOR, ANT-MAN, WASP and SPIDER-MAN to take them down.

An alternate MCU all from one scene going differently.
