What are yours?
Mine are:
Nick Fury, Director of S.H.E.I.L.D.
Captain America
Runaways.
Jason Blood, The Demon (with Blood constantly trying to separate himself from Etrigan, at the same time as helping people and fighting other demons)
Deadman (sort of like a man-thing comic with Boston secretly helping reglular people each episode)

Dial H for HERO
Challengers of the Unknown
The Specter(Jim Corrigan)
Green Lantern Corps
Daredevil-half law and order/half superhero

Global Frequency .... could and should have been great.

They need to rethink and have another go at that ...

Transmetropolitan- A late night HBO animated series.

Sandman Mystery Theater- Mad Men meets The Shadow with James Spader as Wesley Dodds.

Hellblazer- A BBC/Showtime production set in London with Marc Warren as Constantine.

Tank Girl- Mad Max meets Phoo Action with jamie Winstone as TG.

Gotham Central- Like a DCU version of The Wire. No Batman.

There definately needs to be a live action "X-???" tv show. Marvel needs to stop ****ing around.

No, several decades before Ben 10. Ben 10 is a wannabe.
Well, if I knew what Dial H for HERO was, I obviously knew it came first. I meant so soon after Ben 10 got a show.

Daredevil
Punisher
Gotham Central

I'm sorry, but Robby Reed, Chris King, Vicki Grant, and Hero Cruz have got the Tennyson family beat by a mile! I would have liked to have seen a Dial "H" for Hero series done before Ben 10, but we got Ben 10 instead!

Let's see: Mine are,

Metamorpho - Just focus on the relationship between Rex Mason and the Stagg family, including Rex's wife Sapphire, in addition to all the supervillains and associates he comes across in his adventures, and we'll be set!

Nightwing - Imagine Bruce Wayne's ward, Dick Grayson, all grown up and fighting crime and corruption in the grittiest city in the DC Universe, Bludhaven. Imagine an all-star cast playing some of the guest villains - only this time, it's more serious, NYPD Blue-level serious in tone.

Deadman - I'm all for this series! Just cast Michael Rosenbaum in the role of the ghostly Boston Brand in the live action series, as he possesses a different guest star every week in his search to find his killer.

Zatanna, Mistress of Magic - Just cast Paul Dini's real-life wife, Misty Lee Dini (who is a real-life magician), as the narrator chronicling the adventures of a young Zatanna Zatara trying to follow her father's footsteps. For the young Zatanna, they should do a casting search for the right actress to play her. For the story episodes, get Paul Dini to write them.

Suicide Squad - I see Dana "Queen Latifah" Owens doing the role of the hardass Amanda Waller, the head of Task Force X, as she recruits different guest villains and heroes on very dangerous black-ops missions against world dictators and crooked corporations. And, David James Elliott plays Rick Flagg, nuff said!

Walking Dead on HBO would be greatness.

In no particular order:

Daredevil - As said before, half-superhero story, half-courtroom drama

Cloak and Dagger - Take the "super teen drama" that Smallville originated with and add some social relevance on drugs, runaways, and homelessness.

Manhunter from Mars - Basically a detective drama where the main character happens to be a mind-reading, shape-changing alien.

Hellboy - In the same vein as the movies, would be expensive, but not out of the question as most of the cast has done television.

Booster Gold and Blue Beetle - Superhero sitcom, best done in a similar vein as Psych.

Runaways - animation but using character designs close Adrian Alphona's original work.

Ex Machina - Each season follows one year in Mitchell Hundred's four year term as mayor of NYC post 9/11 with flashbacks to his days as the Great Machine.

Gotham Central - filmed in Chicago, blending the Nolan and Gotham Central universe together.

Y: The Last Man - animated. There likely will be a live action trilogy of the 10 volume series but with animation a lot more could be adapted from the series. Plus animation allows for a story that journeys over many locations over a period of a few years in a world without men. A live action film budget wouldn't do it justice but animation can create this world. Either traditional 2D or CG.

Fables - Actually may appear on ABC.

Hellboy - In the same vein as the movies, would be expensive, but not out of the question as most of the cast has done television.

You know. I think a B.P.R.D. television show would work a little better.... or heck, have both as series. :hehe:

I've always liked Hellboy better with the B.P.R.D., so a mix would be good. HB's the main character, but he doesn't have to show up in every episode.

Yeah. Cause if it's his show... it more finite than a B.P.R.D. one. Or at least, you'd feel the drawing out more in a Hellboy series.

  • X-Men (too many muties to develop fully on big screen)
  • Daredevil (lawyer by day, hero by night)
  • The Runaways (superhero kids)
  • Gotham Central (NYPD Blue meets Batman)
  • Punisher (maybe he will work better on TV)

Daredevil
The Punisher
Sin City

X-Statix
Danger Girl
Nick Fury or a SHIELD based show...
She-Hulk
A Proper Mutant X show

X-Factor Investigations
She-Hulk
Academy X
Doc Samson
The Question

Batman
Superman
X-men
Captain America
Runaways

They would all make awesome tv shows.
