I wonder who the enemy will be. Russia?
Kelly McGillis has said before that she would do a cameo in the film:
Top Gun's Kelly McGillis makes rare appearance as filming for the sequel begins
But Jennifer Connelly has recently confirmed that Kelly McGillis won't be in the film in any way:
Jennifer Connelly In Top Gun 2: Everything We Know About Her Role
McGillis looks more like she should play Maverick's mother now though, or she could even be Charlie's mother. What if the funeral is for Charlie? Then Kelly McGillis could've cameoed as her mother and Maverick could offer her his condolences.
Jennifer Connelly looks like she's starring in a hair commercial.
So Monica Barbaro is "Phoenix". Is that the only call sign we know so far? I know they had a list of potential names before, but only Monica's has been confirmed.
If she's "Phoenix", and Kilmer is "Iceman", they need someone called "Cyclops", "Beast" and "Angel"
I didn't even know Jon Hamm was in this until the trailer.
Just as long as she's not Dark Phoenix. No one wants to see that again.
Feel bad for the guy who’s “Blob”.
That's what Val Kilmer could've been when he had put on lots of weight before years ago.
I'm guessing Jon Hamm's callsign is "Bacon" or "Porker".
Anyone think Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman going to make a Days Of thunder sequel after this lol since he going back in time with movies.
And then one with Mimi Rogers and one with Katie Holmes.
That is a great catch!
Wow, even U.S. military propaganda has to bend to chinese politics.
Gotta keep those investors happy.
I was so leery of this sequel so many years so late. But I am so in. My jaw dropped wide open and I got major goosebumps watching this. I loved this teaser and I honestly can't wait for this.
Stunning photography. Cruise looks like he is actually flying the fighter jet(Becuase he is!), the remix of the Top Gun theme was great, it hit me right in the feels and I loved every minute of it
You do understand the DoD is not making this movie, right?
With the amount of military hardware in the trailer, do you think they aren't?
I actually know they are not. DoD does not make movies, though they will consider supporting some of them.
The trailer has 350 million+ views and counting.
So, how is that Cats trailer doing?
There has been some general interest in this movie for about 30 years. It makes sense the trailer is getting a lot of looks.
Never go full Battleship.
